I needed a little break from my every day Vermont life. This was the perfect spot to get away from everything, but still not be far from home. I would definitely go back! Thank you so much!

Amazing location. We loved snowshoeing on the property. The horses were majestic and we loved all the animals. Anja and David are very friendly and interesting to talk to. Note that if you are tall, there are a few low door thresholds. Easy access to Middlebury College

Leslie’s cabin is lovely! Such a great place to stay while skiing at Gore. Supremely cozy, well outfitted, and easy to find. Make sure to book a hot tub experience!

Sara and her mom are very easy-going hosts. I traveled with a friend and two dogs, and we all felt very welcomed. There's a small fenced in area on the roadside of the house, and tons of open farmland in the back -- both were great for letting the dogs out. Sara's parents are very quiet neighbors, but it was also nice to know they were nearby if anything came up. A 26-mile rail trail starts out of Richford, which is a five minute drive from the house.

This is a return visit to Pam's place. It was exactly as I remembered it. A magnificent setting in a beautiful part of VT. The space is sweetly decorated and accessorized in an appropriate horse theme. Everything is in pristine condition. The cleanliness is matchless. Fully equipped as described. A bed that's hard to get out of in the morning!! Pam takes this business seriously and is a consummate professional - at the same time warm and welcoming.

What a beautiful place! Sarah and Bert’s place was one of a kind! Superb location with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains! We booked this location for our family snowboarding trip, there was ample space for us to eat and enjoy family time. Great kitchen to cook and socialize with everybody. I can’t say enough about this home. Sarah and Bert were excellent hosts and we communicated effortlessly and they provided a very positive experience. If you’re planning a trip to the area for adventure or just a getaway, I would highly recommend staying at Fielders farm!

The farmhouse was a delightful place to stay in lake placid. Behind the house was a rail trail, it was busy but not crowded. People on the trail were respectful; we hardly noticed them. The cabin is fully stocked with basic needs plus more. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into the house. The house is closer to the street than I expected but the street was pretty quiet. The house is in very close proximity to loads of great hikes.

The cabin is so beautiful, peaceful and cozy. Pictures don’t do it justice! It’s extremely private and the wooded lot is gorgeous. The place was very clean and comfortable. Sally was an amazing host and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again!

If you’re looking for a place near the ski resort but not right at the mountain, this is a good option. There are multiple units in this home and we had the “National” one. Super clean and organized with a well stocked kitchen of dishes and accoutrements

Beautiful place to stay and very kind, friendly hosts. Serene location that’s easy to get to and the apartment is very clean and private with everything you need. The hosts have thought of nearly everything and will go out of their way to help. We will stay again!

Absolutely charming cabin! We had a wonderful time relaxing in the hot tub, cooking meals in the kitchen, and using the home as a base to ski and explore Vermont! It was snowy when we went, and we would definitely recommend AWD for getting up the driveway, but Nicole was very helpful in making sure it was plowed and sanded.

I cannot say enough good things about Keith and Erika and their space. They were super flexible, understanding, and made what could have been a semi-stressful, snowy adventure very easy. The casita was fully stocked with everything you could need, the bed was so comfy, and the surrounding land was perfect for a little snowy hike. Thank you again Keith and Erika for being so communicative and understanding! We had the best time :)

Highly recommend for any couple trying to get away for a few days! Wonderful private cabin with a few trails and a beautiful creek/river within walking distance from the cabin. Hosts were friendly and responsive. Not a lot of food options in Roxbury but there are several within 20-25 minutes of the place.

This was our second stay at the Stuga. Last time was in May so we wanted to come back in the winter for some snow fun. Did some sledding at the house and some snowshoeing at Barr Hill Nature Preserve just up the street. A lot of fun and beautiful as always. Nancy and Bob are great hosts, always responsive. Will be back!

Bottom line: I would stay here again. The place is cozy and tidy. Carmin made obvious efforts to make the place welcoming. It’s a good location that’s removed from the congestion of the village center, but you can get there by car in 5 minutes. You can walk out the door and go for a hike. Water pressure in the shower is good. Carmin provides lots of local recommendations. Netflix readily available. Coffee and welcome snacks given. Heater heats up place quickly. If you’re a light sleeper, bring ear plugs as you can hear any car pass at night. The place is older, and as such has houseflies. They’re being managed, but it’s a little surprising at first. The place is clean. I didn’t find vent fans for the kitchen or bathroom, but there are windows close. The bed is fairly comfortable, on the softer side, but the pillows are noisy. The cookware is a little beat up (missing handles), but functional. We did not use the washer or dryer. Overall good stay.

This is truly a special place. We came to celebrate my son’s 10th birthday, as he loves farms. There are two beautiful horses stabled on this property—we could see them from the porch! There is also a chicken coop, and two very friendly pups (that my son loved playing with). The land at Ogden’s Mill Farm is private and expansive, the cabin is welcoming and cozy, and the hosts are communicative and very kind. They supplied everything that we needed for a comfortable stay, including plenty of firewood, as we used the fireplace every night that we were there. We took a walk down to the babbling brook, heard the rain falling softly on the tin roof, took a cold plunge in the pond, explored the old cider mill, and star gazed—all right there on the property. From start to finish, the visit was perfect and we felt at peace. I know for certain that my son will always remember his first trip to Vermont! I hope we return to this magical place someday.

Jean's apartment was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook dinner there one night and have all of the oils and seasonings that we needed to make the meal.

We could not have asked for a better place for our eclipse adventure. The two bedroom cabin was spotlessly clean, well-appointed, cute and plenty of space for the 4 of us. We loved being out in the woods and enjoyed our walks around the pond enormously. Easy to get to restaurants and other activities, but away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Not a thing to complain about, and would definitely recommend to anyone!

The Chalet was just perfect. Listing perfectly described what you were getting with this little piece of paradise! The Sauna was easily workable. The hot tub was clean and ready to go. The whole house was immaculate and roomy yet cozy. Perfect distance to the MANY MANY WATERFALLS the boyfriend and I were chasing. Skiing at Whiteface will be happening in the future, and hopefully using Judi's gorgeous Chalet to ease my weary bones once again in the future. Will 100% recommend this place to all my friends and family. Thanks Judi! =) Tammy & Matt
