Hotel holiday rentals in Lake Victoria

Hotel Duomo offers great spacious apartments and hotel rooms. The service is excellent and staff is super kind and responsive. The owners and the staff did everything to make our stay of 6 weeks as comfortable as possible. Thank you for giving us this great start of our Ugandan adventure!

Staying with Alison and David was a delight from beginning to end. We were very well taken care of in every way, from the wonderful fruit salads for breakfast to lovely evenings on the terrace with a stunning view of the sun setting over Victoria Lake. As birders we were also thrilled by the wealth of birds in their garden, or easily seen from it, getting some seventy species during our stay - a perfect introduction for us to African birds before going on a round-trip. David also arranged a great trip to Mabamba swamp for us, dropping us off and picking us up from the boat taking us to the swamp, where we then switched to a smaller canoe for navigating the swamp. Overall, Alison and David are the friendliest people imaginable, always going the extra mile for their guests. We couldn't recommend them more - this is the perfect place to stay in Entebbe, excellent value for money.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff. Generally clean. Has a back up generator just incase of a power outage😊.

Lovely place to stay in Kampala. Very convenient to Mulago Hospital (can easily and safely walk there in 10 minutes). The staff and their hospitality exceeds expectations. They will go out of their way to make sure your stay is very comfortable. Look forward to returning!

An unexpected gem tucked away in Muhoroni. I loved the landscaping. The lush green gardens added to the zen atmosphere. Staff was super welcoming and responsive. Food was good. I especially enjoyed the fruit. The room was clean and comfortable. Certainly found my go to spot when in Muhoroni.

So far my favorite location in Kampala and the hotel staff are so nice. My best regards to the manager Serki for helping me with all my little complaints & to the Sharon the waitress for outstanding service.

I stayed for 3 or 4 days. This is an excellent property. It's a 6-8 bedroom facility inside of a gated, large, beautiful garden that you can walk around in and feel peace. The place is decorated really nicely and so is the room. Everything super clean. The neighborhood is one of the better neighborhoods. The caretaker was very kind and helpful my entire stay. It felt I staying in a large house more than a hotel. Very quite, and peaceful.
