Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lapland

We stayed 1 week at Kati's and everything was perfect, the accommodation there is nothing to say everything is clean, it's great, there is everything you need. We are 50 minutes from Rovaniemi with a direct and very accessible road. One night we saw the northern lights through the window, it was beautiful. I recommend this listing.

Thanks Katja, we had an amazing two days in Ranua. The house is very functional, accessible. Getting up in the morning and having lunch in front of the window with the impression of being in the heart of the forest, what a pleasure! The location is superb. Thank you again for the campfire, for taking the time to try to communicate with our children, and for the attention you gave them. I highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was a very quiet and a wonderful place to see the northern lights! The cottage was warm and cozy and had everything needed for a comfortable stay! We would highly recommend!

Good value for money. Super Clean Good location (airport 20 mins /bus stop 20m / 2 nearby supermarkets 5 mins drive) Quiet place We loved the sauna. A few small flaws: missing a few utensils, the back room remains a little less hot from the rest of the house. We recommend this place.

The place is lovely, well equipped. There beautiful surroundings, it’s close to the lake and ruka safari is close by. It was a bit hard to operate the washing machine, but other than that we definitely recommend this cabin! Looking forward to visit again 🙏🏽

Such a nice and calm place. We enjoyed having our holiday in Lappland and Villa Ainola was a perfect place for us to stay.

We thank Matti and Marita for the nice time in the house and will be very happy to come back. It was totally relaxing and we felt at home from the 1st second. The house is very cozy and warm, perfectly clean and the bathroom was newly renovated with foot underfloor heating and anything that makes it pleasant. The sauna was great. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. Beds were very comfortable. The internet was very fast and is fast enough to work from there if you have to. We enjoyed the trip to the reindeer, the cross-country skis and recovered very well during long walks in the woods. The hosts were always approachable and totally helpful. It was very interesting and we learned a lot about Lapland and Finland. Thank you for everything and hopefully until soon!

The house is very quiet at the end of a street, from the living room you can look directly at the river. We had everything we needed there and the beds were very comfortable. Only the TV reception was so bad that there was no movies to watch in the evening. Otherwise, everything was fine! (:

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Amazing experience. The location is great for seeing auroras (we saw them!) and only half an hour from Rovaniemi. The lake is very beautiful. The cottage is very well equipped and cozy. The only issue we had was the door locks which are not intuitive. The host's communication was very good. I highly recommend this accommodation!

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Mist! The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect, surrounded by nature but still close enough to local attractions. The hosts were friendly and made sure we felt at home. Very nice chalet where we could completely unwind! We were very sorry that we had only booked for one night. The host was also very reactive and responded within 5 minutes when we had a question about how the sauna works. We only notice one downside: there was only very little wood available for the fireplace, so we could only enjoy the fire for a while.

The house is perfect, the lake is a dream place for aurora watching, and meeting reindeer ! Ilkka is of great help to organize activities. I would highly recommend this place.

Beautiful home in a wonderfully rural setting but not far from amenities. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights from the home on 2 of the 3 nights we stayed and on one of those occasions Ville highlighted they were nearby which was kind. The house had all the amenities to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you.

Beautiful cabin on the Teno river. Lovely amenities. Hot tub and wood burning stove are really nice features. Great host!

We had a great time. The surroundings are very nice and quiet, a bus stop is within walking distance to get into town. In addition, a lake and hiking trails through nature are right nearby. Rauna was very friendly and helpful, we felt very comfortable. The private sauna was great and everything was clean and well equipped with everything you need! The value was great and the Airbnb met our expectations.

All I will say is wow!!! Everything we were hoping for and more, jenny has a little gem of a home and spectacular grounds on a reindeer farm. Jenny went above and beyond with information and help for us and we are so grateful as a family to her and her family for helping us create some ever lasting memories. Would be a dream to return xx

Beautiful accommodation in a very nice environment. The house is very tasteful and cozily furnished. Everything is very clean and well maintained. We would come back anytime.

Our stay at the cabin in Rovaniemi was just perfect! The place delighted us from the first second – it was clean, stylishly decorated and stocked with everything you need (even the little extras like coffee, tea). The location is ideal: quiet but still close to Rovaniemi so we could easily explore everything. A huge praise to Tiina and Juho, who welcomed us warmly and responded quickly to questions throughout the stay. The tips on local highlights were worth gold – we felt like locals! We also particularly liked the cozy atmosphere and the loving details that made the place a real home away from home. We will definitely be happy to come back and highly recommend this oasis! Great space inside, lots of windows with great views over the river. Comfortable bunk beds, traditional sauna heated with wood fire was a fab experience. Shops 10 km away, super quiet. It's the second time we stayed at Antti's and would recommend it.

Excellent accommodation, quiet area and within convenient distance of the center of Ruka and the slopes.

We spent 4 nights in this beautiful house! What a fantastic place to be, you'll have the entire house to yourself. The surroundings are quiet and quite beautiful. Marita and Sami are lovely and warm people. They will receive you when you arrive. If there is anything or you have a question, all you have to do is send a message and you have an answer. The house was very clean and provided with everything you need. There is wood for the stove which you can use. We have booked the ice fishing, the feeding of reindeer and the husky trip through them, these are recommended. The ice fishing is very nice because you do that with Marita and Sami. We enjoyed our stay with these lovely people.

The place was amazing and very cosy despite the weather outside. We had have a great time. I recommend this place.
