Welcome to my holiday home in the heart of Saariselkä – only a few minutes' walk away of Urho Kekkonen National Park trailheads. I renovated and furnished my home completely in 2023 with all modern amenities while preserving the traditional stone-built fireplace and Finnish sauna. With three beds upstairs and a large sofa bed downstairs, the accommodation is comfortable for various types of groups. The remote working space, fully equipped kitchen and laundry also make it ideal for a longer stay.

Filled with natural light, it features a cosy living area, modern kitchen, and a master bedroom overlooking the terrace and jacuzzi, ideal for relaxation after days of adventure.

Juuri avattu kodikas mökki kutsuu nauttimaan Lapin taianomaisesta rauhasta, jossa arktisen luonnon hiljaisuus ja monipuoliset aktiviteetit kohtaavat. Hiihtoladut, rinteet ja moottorikelkkareitit ovat vain muutaman minuutin päässä, ja skibussi pysähtyy noin 300 metrin päässä. Mökissä on lämmin tunnelma – hirsipinnat, takkatuli ja sauna luovat täydelliset puitteet rentoutumiseen. Atmospheric house on the shore of Kemijoki

On the scenic Kemijoki riverbank, about an hour's drive from Rovaniemi, 65 km towards Kuusamo. I recommend renting a car. Fully equipped 75 m2 cottage with two bedrooms, kitchen, sauna, bathroom, porch and terrace. There is a beach near the cottage (about 700 m). Opportunities for snowmobiling, fishing, berry picking and hunting, as well as hiking. There is a boat launch about 1.2 km away.
