Great place with a fantastic view of the lake! I found everything to be as described with the sauna being an obvious highlight. Due to the house being located at a cul-de-sac, it feels very private (except for the odd rando intrigued by the view or the owner's sister collecting some furniture on Easter weekend). The autobahn is nearby, but its sound doesn't overwhelm that of the cow bells, so no big deal.

I had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful chalet and it was just fantastic! The location is perfect, surrounded by stunning nature and with a magnificent view of the mountains. The chalet itself is lovingly furnished and offers a perfect mix of coziness and modern comfort. Marco was extremely friendly and helpful, so I immediately felt at home. The amenities left nothing to be desired – from the fully equipped kitchen to the cozy fireplace, which created a warm atmosphere. A very special highlight was the sweet cat, called Shoukran, she was incredibly friendly and made for a warm atmosphere. I highly recommend this chalet!

This place is beautiful all around. It was perfect Swiss experience I was looking for my family. It is between Swiss hills, looking at the Gruyere lake and surroundings. The most perfect view!! The inside is absolutely cozy, it had all the space we needed for our family of 5, but you can easily fit 8 adults comfortably . The bathrooms were very clean and we had access to washer and dryer, very well appreciated after been traveling for over a week. I strongly recommend Mary’s place if you are looking for a real Swiss adventure!

Catrine’s house was a delight to stay in. The magnificent views onto the Lake and Mountains were breathtaking. Clean, spacious and has everything you need. Would definitely come back here if I visit Montreux again.

We stayed at John's house for a few days over Easter. Everything worked out great and we didn't miss anything in the house. We liked the house and the location, lots of nature and tranquility, we were able to switch off really well. We would gladly come back.

An amazing weekend getaway in the mountains. Fantastic layout inside, cozy fireplace and stunning view from the yard / breakfast nook area. Will definitely come back!

Margaret is a hospitable and helpful host. There is beautiful surroundings which made us feel peaceful and relaxed. We had two days of hiking which we really enjoyed. We also visited nearby places at the bottom of the mountain. If you love nature, you will love this place. It takes about 20 minutes to drive from the bottom of the hill to the house, but the scenery along the way is worth seeing. Thanks Margaret! We enjoyed it very much!

Beautiful place. Shame snow wasn’t good enough to ski from door but don’t let that stop you as views are amazing and apartment lovely. Raclet machine was excellent. We travelled with our baby. There was a cot but no mattress suitable for sleeping and recommend a proper high chair as the one there is a trip trappe chair for older child.

We enjoyed our extended weekend at Eléonore's very much. The apartment is tastefully and comfortably furnished, you immediately feel at home. It has everything you need and is very clean. On the balcony you can enjoy cozy summer evenings with views of the city, the lake and the mountains. The apartment is very centrally located, the old town and metro are within walking distance. It's very quiet and the neighbors are very friendly. Communication with Eléonore was quick, straightforward and very accommodating. She sent us a document with all the important information, as well as culture/shopping tips and very good restaurant recommendations. Just around the corner you can enjoy excellent gourmet cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere inside or on the terrace at the restaurant Sardine. For gin lovers, there is a large assortment of specialties. All in all, this was a wonderful stay and we will be happy to come back to Eléonore!

We were two people and had a great stay! Brook is a lovely host. The apartment is very spacious and had everything we could hope for. Thanks again for a great time! We hope to be back soon.

We stayed as a family. The place was clean, cozy, nice. Our kids loved it and so did we. The little ones (sauna, fireplace, gondola) were very much appreciated!
