Located inside an old stately building, it has recently been renovated and made compliant with current standards of comfort and safety. It can accommodate one or two people with the possibility of accommodating a maximum of four as long as they are, in the latter case, members of the same family or a close group of friends. No. 11 is located in the heart of the old town of Matera, the Sassi. The breathtaking view has been featured in several films, such as James Bond, the Passion of Christ and Ben-Hur. This historical house has stunning vaulted sandstone ceilings and rooms decorated in Scandic-Italian style. A spacious bedroom, en-suite bathroom and a small lounge area with private entrance from the street. A fantastic location but not for the faint hearted, lots of steps, but it's worth it. Bring your sneakers !
