Welcome to Klokkargarden - the quiet pearl in Aurland! The old part of the house was built 1947 and we are now the 4th and 5th generation living here. It has always been Marit’s favourite place and it is growing on Espen as well. The new part of the house where you find your flat was was finished 2018. The outdoor area is still "work in progress" - but lift your eyes and you can see the beauty of the Aurlandsfjord. The flat is well suited for 2-3 adults or 2 adults plus 2 young children.

Internet. 50 meters to grocery store, retaurant / pub, aquarium, tourist information, cookie rental, ribs and fishing trips. Ferry boat to and from Bergen, and further inland to the fjord to Flåm. Great hiking in the mountains.

The apartment is around 6 years old, and with all basic furniture and kitchen appliances. There is a parking lot separating the living room window and the fjord. Please contact me for a multiple night discount. You will be met by my hostess upon arrival. PS: In the rare case the cleaning might not be finished by the time you arrive, you are still welcome to check in and leave your bags there. If so, you will be notified beforehand. Our beautiful 3 room ground floor apartment is available for rent. Perfect suitable for a couple, a small family or 2-4 friends. Two separate bedrooms. Linen and towels are included. Nice place overlooking the mountains and Granvinsvatnet, bathing area by the water. Granvin is well suited for hiking in forests and mountains. Granvin is a great starting point for trips to Hardanger, Sognefjorden and Bergen ☀️ -20 min to Voss, which is the commercial centre for the region. -30 min to Eidfjord with Vøringsfossen, Kjeåsen and Hardangervidda -70 min to Odda - 1 hour 50 minutes to Bergen There are bus connections to Voss, Ulvik and Odda.

The village is also known for its goat cheese made from local milk. Historically, the site was home to the local post office and steamship expedition.
