IMPORTANT (please read): We (hosts), recently relocated back to KC. While our new home is built, we have temporarily converted the walk out basement here into a living space for our family. It is locked off from upstairs & has it's own entrance. So 2 seperate units, 2 seperate entrances, but all under 1 roof. We will use the left side of the drive (2 cars) & enter via garage. Guests will use the right side of the drive (2 cars) & enter via front door. If suitable for you, we welcome you! :)

When my husband & I first saw this house, I knew it was the perfect place to escape to do my favorite thing - read. I designed it with that in mind. I could see myself reading in front of the wood-burning stove. Reading on the martini deck with coffee in hand. Reading in the afternoon light in the loft or outside on the deck. House is within walking distance of Liberty square, Hammerhand Coffee, Price Chopper, Family Tree Nursery, Quiktrip, etc. 20 min to downtown Kansas City. 19 min to stadiums. 23 min to airport. Family-friendly space. There’s a baby crib in a closet, just let me know if you need it set up ahead of time. The house is 100 years old, so it has lots of creaks and character, but I keep it maintained and clean for my wonderful guests!
