Devizes is 8 miles away, and Dominos do deliver We are on the King Alfred's Cycle Way and have locked garage space for cycles . We are within easy driving distance to Stonehenge, Avebury and the medieval cathedral city of Salisbury

Owls Cottage has outstanding views across open countryside with easy access to The Ridgeway Path on the border of Salisbury Plain. Fantastic for mountain bikers, walkers and riders. It is an ideal base for Longleat Stonehenge, Avebury Circle, Salisbury, Bath, Marlborough and many National Trust and English Heritage sites. The Kennett & Avon canal, with the Caen Hill flight of locks, is nearby. 5mins walk to pub with good food most days. Supermarket & takeaway nearby. Devizes is a 12 min drive.

The North Transept

The North Transept is part of our converted Victorian Gothic church. We've done all the conversion ourselves - the high ceilings and beautiful Gothic windows make it a unique space. It's in a small hamlet in a beautiful hidden valley surrounded by fields; there's lovely walking from the door and lots of local wildlife including roe and muntjac deer, pheasants, red kites and owls. It's easy to get to a wide range of local attractions like Lacock and Avebury and only half an hour to Bath.

Pigsty Cottage is a spacious apartment within an Orangery, its a lovely private place to stay. Well equipped, with a top quality kingsize bed and mattress, secure parking and electric gates. A Lovely rural location, stunning gardens. Great for visits to Bath, Stonehenge, Salisbury and Devizes. We do allow a well behaved pet. If you’re planning on bringing a pet, we’d like to know in advance as we make some small changes to the furnishings accordingly. We have a strict poo pick up policy.

A good stop over point for cyclists on the King Alfred’s way route. The friendly village of Tilshead is located at the heart of Salisbury Plain. Excellent Italian food available at the Rose and Crown Pub 50 yards walk away.
