Chalet holiday rentals in Loch Lomond

This was our first visit to Cameron House and we were not disappointed, the lodge was perfect for us and the resort had plenty of activities on offer (if you wanted to do them). We visited in August and there were various activities available for different age ranges. We had teenagers so they were interested in clay shooting, bubble football, private cinema, golf and although there was a cost for these it was not unreasonable. Plus there was the indoor pool, gym and range of fitness classes. Plus of course there is the great outdoors with fantastic scenery and Loch Lomond itself. The host was really helpful and answered all my questions really well. I would have no hesitation going back.

Lovely lodge situated 10 minutes away from Loch Lomond! Views from the lodge are absolutely stunning. We loved looking for the bunnies in the field and bird watching. Lots of useful amenities in the bathroom and kitchen. The shower pressure was not the best but it did the job and heated up quickly. Great WiFi speed. Great enclosed grass area for dogs and you are allowed to walk around the owners field to go and see the sheep and lambs. The owners were lovely and friendly too, Lesley was brill on check in, showing us how to use all the different things and gave lots of recommendations of things to do in the surrounding area.

We had a great stay at the property. Mrs. Jessie cattanach was extremely helpful and responsive throughout.. She promptly answered all our queries and patiently guided us to the property early in the morning at 6am which we truly appreciated. Her support made our arrival and stay smooth and stress-free. Highly recommended!

Mel met us on arrival and kindly showed us round. We were slightly early to check in and that wasn’t a problem. We were left some milk and biscuits (that tasted amazing) which was a lovely touch. It’s such a gorgeous setting, so peaceful, yet only a short walk into the town itself that offers plenty bars, restaurants and takeaways. Highly recommend, it certainly exceeded our expectations.

We stayed at rumbling bridge during a golfing break in May. This property has everything. It’s well positioned for golf courses around the are, beautifully decorated with the most amazing garden and wildlife. As we arrived a deer literally walked infront of our car to the chalet. The cake was an extra we wasn’t expecting and after a long day of golf went down really nice with a cup of tea. I’d recomend muckhart golf club for a spot of lunch and the Chinese takeaway in dollar was very nice as well. This was the perfect trip and most of that was due to this air BnB. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your property.

there was a mix up as the host did not have any of my details to forward info to me he said travel nest had not sent them to him ,so we did not know that there was a little shop on site or the use of some equipment and board games which would have been great but too late by time we knew! Also we confirmed we had dogs and again travelnest did not inform the host that we had paid for dogs in the cost.

Karen’s Airbnb was modern, spotless, stylish and literally the most well-provisioned AirBnb I have ever stayed at. Dyson hairdryers in both main suites, every kitchen appliance you could imagine (why of course there’s an ice cream maker!) and then some you didn’t know existed like a hot chocolate maker as well. She was so kind and helpful despite our last-minute reservation in mid-week November happening at the same time as some significant personal events as well. Wonderful, kind, stylish host with a beautiful first class house.

Amazing stay! Plenty of space and great location. Highly recommend staying at this property if you have a family, or need a place to stay in the Highlands. Very cozy!

my review: What a gorgeous lodge. We went up as a family of 6 and 2 dogs. Seil Lodge is beautifully decorated and so clean! Plenty of space, all appliances worked really well, wi-fi was great (fast), shower was amazing (especially after a 12 hour drive up). We were greeted with a warm lodge- heating on. Dogs were greeted with water bowls, treats and blankets (so impressed, extra effort to make it dog friendly, it’s so lovely). Jim and Pauline were great at responding to all questions we had. They had some great recommendations with where to go and what to do. I honestly can’t recommend Jim and Pauline enough. So many little touches that made it feel like home from home. We had such a lovely family experience, lots of happy memories were made. We hope to come back again soon.

We had an amazing stay with the hot tub and private area. It was so relaxing and enjoyable. Thanks a bunch for all your help!

The Manor Party Lodge was perfect for a girlie weekend with 7 friends. We had an amazing time. The lodge was clean and well maintained and the hot-tub was wonderful. Cleaning staff were nice and friendly. We would definitely book again.

Cameron on site was excellent. He had great local recommendations. The house was fantastic with a lovely view of the Loch. Cute on site visitors center with snacks, food, and drinks for sale. Portnellian was such a great estate.

Rhonda was very welcoming and easy to talk to, accomadation was located superbly, and as we were travelling with young kids, worked very well for us with the play area upstairs and garden space.

The house and setting were both absolutely stunning and we were so close to lots of beautiful walks! The house was so well equipped and had absolutely everything you would need. Would 100% recommend and would love to visit again!

We found the Boat House at Sonas to spend a few days exploring the Oban area. George and Vic were very proactive in providing information about the place, recommendations for activities, and a list of places to eat (though we ate many of our meals at the cabin—which is well equipped for cooking). The hosts have really thought of everything. And the site was, for us, a perfect respite between Glasgow and Edinburgh. A real Scottish oasis.

Had a such a lovely stay with family. Great directions and check in instructions, cabin was spotless and beds very comfortable. Christmas tree and decor added to the trip, whilst weather wasn’t kind, views were still stunning. Kitchen had everything we needed, overall a lovely festive break.

We had an amazing stay! Loved the area, there was a supermarket 5 min away and the walks near were perfect. This was a perfect time to disconnect from the city and connect with Nature. Thank you so much!

Lovely place to stay with a beautiful view of the Loch. Very quiet and private and just 5 mins walk to local village with cafe, pub, shop.
