Holiday rentals with a patio in Loch Shiel

My friend and I had a great weekend staying at Mary’s, great location to explore Portree and the rest of Skye. Clean and well equipped accommodation.

Sue’s place was absolutely perfect for exploring Portree (only a few mins from town center) and hiking the surrounding areas. We wanted a calm peaceful place to hang out after long days of hiking and this ticked all those boxes. The place was pristine and cosy at the same time. We loved looking out at all the sheep and baby lambs that were frolicking in the field outside the window. Would absolutely stay here again!

What a gem! Carol and Martins place was perfect! Amazing accommodations with everything you could possibly want. Close enough to walk to town for goods and services, but private enough to enjoy the ocean side retreat. A lovely welcome basket was an amazing touch. We’ve stayed at a lot of airbnbs over the years, and this was definitely one of my favorites.

The flat has lovely decor, is cosy, very well equipped, light and airy. Private parking is a bonus and It was lovely to find a breakfast tray when we arrived. The flat was a great base from which to explore the surrounding area, we highly recommend the flat and Isobel is an absolute delight. Michelle and Andrew

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is cozy and very clean. The kitchen is very well-equipped and everything is within short walking distance from the centre. We would happily return.

A wonderful bolt hole from which to explore Skye - ideally located close to the centre, just a short walk which was great for popping into town to explore. Clean and well furnished with everything we could have needed. No complaints at all - excellent value for money and I’m sure we’ll be back!

We had a very nice stay and enjoyed the house itself. It was very clean, modern and spacious (there were also UNO cards as a nice little treat :) ). The bedrooms were amazing and very comfortable. The living space was open and the kitchen was full of utensils, ready to use. The bathrooms were in pristine condition and the flat itself was very easy to find. The host was very friendly and gave us a lot of local information. Would 100% recommend!

The property was very comfortable and cosy and beautifully fitted out, with interesting features of an old house. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped and plenty clean towels laid out for us. The beds were very comfortable and we very much enjoyed our stay, with the flat adding to the enjoyment of our break. The place was lovely and warm during a winter month, which we were very grateful for. The off-street parking was very nice to have and we enjoyed the closeness of the place to the town centre, walking across the bridge every day for different things.

A lovely cottage with beautiful views across the loch. The cottage had a lovely garden and decking, the kitchen was well catered and the beds were comfy. The folder provided had very clear and concise instructions and we felt able to use the cottage easily, including the central heating system (which isn’t always the case in different properties). Hosts were quick to respond to messages. Would definitely recommend and would look at their portfolio of properties in the future.

We had the pleasure of spending two nights in a beautiful cottage near the stunning Red Castle – a place where we were even able to celebrate a special occasion. The host had decorated the house with great attention to detail; it was cozy, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we needed. Especially worth mentioning is how quickly and kindly she responded to messages. The location was perfect for us: peaceful, idyllic, and still within walking distance of attractions like the impressive Red Castle and a picturesque lake. The surroundings invite you to relax and explore. It was an unforgettable and truly beautiful stay – we would love to come back!

We loved out stay at Anna's place, it instantly made us feel at home away from home. Our daughter loved the bath tub en we loved having breakfast (with eggs from Anna) with such a stunning view. Thanks a lot!

Craig and Amy‘s clean and well-appointed home was perfect for our group. Four of us stayed, and each had our own bright, comfortable bedroom. Great location for exploring Inverness and the region. Check in and check out instructions were very clear, and we appreciated their communication with us. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Alice is a fantastic host. She responded quickly to the questions we had and offered recommendations for dinner. Our stay was short but her property made it easy. We were minutes away from multiple trails, delicious food, and looked forward to the comforts of home at the end of the day. Beautiful place! Great location!

We had an excellent stay in Lag Nam Muc! The bed was comfortable, everything was very clean, and I loved the sweet touch of the hot water bottles left by the kettle- made for such a cozy bedtime. Rachel was very communicative, kind, and helpful, and the location was perfect for walking in to Portree.

Really lovely stay at this beautiful property. The studio is stocked with everything you need and is a perfect location for day trips and exploring the local area. Undine and John kindly provided several great local recommendations. Would love to come back!

We can’t express enough how amazing Fiona’s Airbnb is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Her beautiful personal touches, fresh flowers, chocolates, delicious coffee and snacks with a lovely welcoming on the chalk board inside was so lovely. We will return it was THAT GOOD

Number 124 was all and more that we expected and we hope that there will be other opportunities to stay. We would also not hesitate in recommending the apartment to other visitors.

Our stay over the Christmas holiday was fantastic and made even more amazing by our hosts who went the extra mile to make our holiday extra special. The added touches of a Christmas tree and decorations, Christmas hamper and hot chocolates made our stay feel like home. The apartment was perfect for our holiday: modern, comfortable, nicely decorated and most importantly very clean which made staying in a pleasure on a rainy day. The view over the river was a real treat: seeing the river change with the weather, watching birds and catching the odd glimpse of otters was a great experience for the children. We would like to thank our hosts for giving us all an amazing home away from home.

Absolutely breathtaking surroundings! We woke up to a stunning view of Ben Nevis with a dusting of snow, and wandered down the beach to look out over Loch Linnhe framed by low hanging clouds, mist coming down the valleys, and early morning sun steaming the shallows. Our amenities were perfect, and we even managed to roast a chicken to go along with our bubbly to celebrate Hogmanay 🥳 Peggy was a very welcoming host, had ventured out into the storm on the evening of our arrival to take pictures to help us find our home for the night - thank you!
