Tiny Barn

The Tiny barn is in an area of outstanding natural beauty with numerous walks from the working dairy and sheep farm - it is just the ground floor and has a small double bed with access to one side, sofa bed, small shower room and kitchenette. It has a dedicated Airband satellite hub for WiFi and is generally very good. It’s a very old building right in the middle of our farm near the cow sheds so expect lots of cows, tractors, farm smells and farmers! Guests can park just outside the tiny barn.

Quarry View is a quirky, comfortable property nestled in the woods in Pontesbury. Comfortably sleeping 2 with the option of a travel cot/camp bed for a child if needed. Really quiet location but within a half hour drive of some lovely Shropshire towns and ideal for walkers. We provide everything you need for a comfortable stay, including basic breakfast items and logs for the log burner. The Welsh border is only a few miles away which acts as a gateway to Mid & North Wales. Rowton Castle wedding venue is 2.6 miles away, which is 6 mins by car.

This is a great location for lovers of both town and country. Only a short distance to the magnificent Shropshire Hills which offer excellent hiking and cycling and also only a short drive to Shrewsbury Town Centre which is famous for its medieval buildings, Norman castle and Abbey. The town is great for shopping and socialising and hosts a large number of independent retailers, excellent restaurants, traditional pubs and cocktail bars. We have good internet access.
