Cottage holiday rentals in Longview

I needed a place to just unwind and relax for a couple of days. I was looking for a place that was quiet, peaceful, surrounded by nature, scenic, and go fishing! This place was all of the above and then some. (There's also a very nice golf course just down the street) Mike and Sheryl make you feel right at home. They are both very friendly and kind. They kept their fridge stocked with drinks and breakfast foods. There is also a coffeemaker, microwave, and toaster in the common/kitchenette area. I even caught my biggest catfish off their brand new dock! (5lbs). I will definitely be back for another stay. I highly recommend staying at Mike & Sheryl's lake side house.

We absolutely loved our quick weekend getaway, this place is truly a gem! I loved the vintage lake house decor/feeling, we felt right at home. The views are beautiful, the property itself is very well maintained, loved the landscaping and the big beautiful trees! It was so nice to just walk out and hop in the lake, rinse off and hop in the hot tub later, with views through the whole cabin! My fiancé enjoyed golfing near by, we cooked and ate our meals on the patio, and enjoyed the scenery. We were more than comfortable for our entire stay. Communication was great, and they stocked us up with water, snacks, and a bottle of wine - even had a pot of coffee made on our arrival. Grateful we were able to stay here! We will absolutely be back!

Such a great place to stay, I am so glad that I found it! Lisa was friendly, quick to respond, and accommodated all of our needs. This place was exactly what we were looking for. I would highly recommend, and we hope to return again in the future.

The place was so peaceful and quiet. The master bedroom had windows facing the lake so it was always a treat to fall asleep and wake up to views of the lake. The fishing off the dock was outstanding. At one point, there was a power outage in the neighborhood and the host was quick to update me as she received updates which was very nice and unexpected! I will visit again.

Great place to stay. The road was a little rough pulling a boat. But the house comfort made up for the bumpy ride. We will definitely book again for our next fishing trip.

What a wonderful place. Very quiet, clean and comfortable. Caught a few fish in the pond all released. Very convenient to nearby small Texas towns. We loved it.

This was the perfect place to stay! Definitely enjoyed getting some peace and quiet by the lake just watching the water and wildlife. Everything was as described and exactly what I needed! Would love to stay here again in the future :)

The stay was peaceful and so enjoyable. Beautiful view out large den window! The bed was VERY comfortable, and all the amenities you need are supplied. Lauree is one of a kind, though!! To allow us to bring our dogs at no extra cost, was beyond amazing! It was a fun and relaxing vacation! We would recommend this property to anyone!❤️

Due to an unfortunate mixup regarding the day we were booked to arrive, the stay was cut short by two days. Despite all of this, Jerry is a host who goes above and beyond to please his guests. His cabins offer a great place for those who are there for recreational activities such as fishing tournaments and to enjoy the beauty of Mother Nature and her offerings, in this gorgeous area of Texas. A peaceful place to be to escape the fast paced lives so many people are accustomed to.

Great host that was very accommodating to our needs and request. House was great. Had everything you would need or want and then some. Would definitely recommend to someone else looking to stay in the area.

Our girls' trip to Canton Trade Days was a success because we had a comfortable place to land after each day of shopping. The beds were comfortable and the shower space was great since it had a dividing door that separated the shower from the vanity. The drive to the house was beautiful and the surroundings were very quiet and peaceful. Great place to stay.

Very clean space with comfortable beds, off street parking, and well equipped kitchen for cooking your own meals. Peaceful place with quiet nights for restful sleep. Not a lot to do in Bullard, but it's not far at all from Tyler, where there are plenty of restaurants and stores.

The lake cabin was very comfortable, and had everything we needed! Loved the boats with trolling motors - perfect for getting around the lake. We managed to find several nice bass and some crappie despite having weather fronts constantly moving thru, which I'm sure put the fish down. Never seen so many turtles in my life! Very nice getaway.

The Sage Street Cottage is conveniently located nearby the Bowery. The cottage itself was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for the four of us. Rhonda and Marty are terrific host and accommodating with our parking needs. Overall, thumbs up.

My family and I loved Kelli’s place! It was so cute and comfy and had everything we needed. It was quiet and peaceful and would definitely stay again!

The perfect little getaway for my husband and I. All the details of our stay were beyond perfect. From the gorgeous design, thoughtful guest kits with a toothbrush/toothpaste, snacks/water, books, hammock…I could go on and on. This cute little cottage was nothing short of perfection. Thank you so much for a wonderful and relaxing stay! :)
