House holiday rentals in Lowndes County

We booked this lovely home because it was located near Wild Adventures. Unfortunately, the theme park was closed the entire week we were there, lol. But this house had such a relaxing atmosphere and an awesome pool to keep our kiddos entertained. It definitely softened the blow of our news to them. The only complaint we had was that the master bed was a SUPER dense memory foam mattress with little give. We went out and bought a topper to try and soften it but it didn't help. All the other beds were super comfy! And some people like really hard beds so to each their own! Only recommendation I have for the home is to get a tri-fold privacy screen for the loft room so the people staying in it aren't exposed to the living room through the railings. We hung a blanket over the railing for our girls to shield them while changing. Over-all such a wonderful home and property. Definitely recommend a visit to anyone looking 🥰

What a beautiful home! The house was so inviting and had plenty of room for our family of 8. The beds were probably the most comfortable beds I’ve ever experienced! We forgot few things but they had some available (body wash, extra towels etc). The kitchen was stocked with pots pans silverware, everything you would need! overall my family had a great trip! Thank you!!!

This home is gorgeous, clean and very comfortable for our family gathering. The neighborhood felt very safe. If you like to cook, make sure you bring your spices and such. If your family likes to play games, bring those too.

We enjoyed our stay. Although we were there for work, the home was convenient to our work location, and all the amenities were exactly as described. I recommend this home to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area. We are looking forward to our future stay.

Eric and Lauri were excellent hosts! We had booked a different property for our daughter’s graduation from FSU, but at the last minute, the host cancelled on us. Thankfully, Eric and Lauri’s home was available. Our family felt right at home. It was almost as if we were staying at a relative’s house. Eric stopped by to meet us and responded very quickly each time we had a question. The pool is really pretty, and while I didn’t swim in the pool a few of our family members did. The house and surroundings were quiet and peaceful. The property is dog friendly and the family has the sweetest dog named Tuck who might stop by to say hello. Seriously, he’s so adorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely keep them in mind if we are ever in need of accommodations in the area in the future.

Have stayed in multiple places in Florida and Georgia with work, this is by far my favorite so far. Beautiful lake in the back yard with the best fishing a guy could ask for on his days off. We Will definitely be back! James and Jay were stellar hosts!

Everything was as described. Clean, nicely stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and couches. Very nice home and responsive hosts. Will stay here again.

This was the perfect Airbnb for my family and I. We had a blast hanging in the backyard and playing in the lake. My kids said they had as much fun at the house as they did at Wild Adventures so that’s a win! We appreciated Lori’s speedy reply’s and the personal items (kayak, towels, floats, life jackets, butter, spices, etc) available for guest. We will def be back!

The property was very charming and nice! I really loved the home, it was very cozy. The property was clean, the beds were very comfortable and the locations was really nice.

Perfectly priced for this clean and spacious old southern charm home. Looks like the original flooring so there is a few places in the floor where its slightly uneven but you just learn where the spots are. I think Roxanna is bringing it back to life and the pictures matched what was described. Super close to downtown shopping and restaurants. I think this home is perfect for different family sizes as its spacious , you don't feel like you are walking over each other. I love that you can all sit together, eat, hang out and play games. If you are looking for a nice space, piece and quiet this is the place!

Great place to stay! Quiet, easy to find and Shimirra had extras! Definitely worth the price! We would definitely stay again if in the area!

I can’t recommend this location enough! This is the second time we’ve stayed here, and I highly recommend this place! The host is one of the best I’ve ever dealt with, and the house feels like home. It’s secluded and peaceful but still close enough to everything in the area. Such a great experience!

This was the perfect location while visiting my son at Moody AFB. Alan’s home on the lake allowed for my son to decompress by fishing, kayaking and enjoying the hot tub. We were able to kick back and watch football as well as make lunch and dinner without leaving the home. Definitely will come back in future visits.

Loved the size of this old house, brought back memories of my grandmothers house.
