Waterfront holiday rentals in Lozère

The rental is very nice and beautifully decorated. Unfortunately, we came across a week of heatwave.

We had a truly memorable stay at this charming Airbnb in Sainte-Croix-Valle-Française. Although the journey to get there was a bit long, it was well worth it once we arrived at this peaceful retreat. The setting is simply stunning, with a beautiful garden that leads down to a tranquil river where our kids had an absolute blast playing each day. The town itself has a wonderful atmosphere, especially on Sunday when the local market comes alive with friendly vendors and fresh produce—definitely a highlight of our trip. We also took the opportunity to explore the surrounding nature and neighboring villages, which were just as delightful and offered a relaxed, laid-back vibe. Overall, we had an excellent time and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic experience in the French countryside.

If you're looking for a few days without using the car, by the river, looking at the mountains, you've come to the right place. On the other hand, if you are looking for a super modern service, go your way, it's not the style of the place;) A big thank you to Jean-Marie for the tips for swimming, restaurants, and for the buoy loans for the little one, he was super happy!

Great stay. We were looking for nature, we were served! Sublime views of the causses, tastefully renovated accommodation, very warm and comfortable. The terrace is perfect for breakfast. The very bucolic fenced garden. There were 5 of us (+ a dog) including three children and we were very comfortable. The bathroom as well as the two toilets are very convenient. The "Castor" room is really clean to foster the imagination of the children, decorated like a cabin, the children loved it! The accommodation is slightly away from the village, which allows a feeling of serenity and “alone in the world” while being within a 3-minute walk from the shops. Christophe was very welcoming and gave good advice, especially for hikes and ice cream. Thank you again for a very friendly and pleasant stay. The area is beautiful!

We discovered this cottage by chance, we were immediately delighted by the tranquility that it reigns there. I would recommend it to anyone wishing to cut themselves off from the world (be careful no network!), we will surely come back!

Régine was charming from start to finish. The house is well equipped, the terrace is very nice and the garden is beautiful! We particularly appreciated the direct access to the Tarn, which was a determining factor in our choice of this accommodation. We slept with the windows open due to the heatwave and it was quite quiet.

We had a great stay of a week at this place located in the very pretty village Les Plantiers. This is a peaceful place by the river with a large swimming pool, a convenience store, a postal agency, the water house (tourist office), a bar, and a restaurant. The apartment is neat, very clean, and very well equipped! 2 beautiful terraces allow you to enjoy a view that overlooks the village. Several hikes from the village or nearby. St Jean du Gard is located 15-20min away The hosts are very welcoming! We recommend it without hesitation!

Great week in this property. The place is splendid and the accommodation is ideally located to enjoy nature and the Tarn as you need it. The fenced garden is a real plus for our animal friends. I recommend it without hesitating and we keep the address in hopes we can come back. Really thank you it was great.

Very nice stay at Annie's place with the family. It has everything you need in the house and it stays cool, very nice in summer! Rousses is a peaceful village, with hikes and many visits in the area (Mont Aigoual, Abime de Bramabiau, Aven Armand, etc.). Thank you Annie for the welcome.
