Cottage holiday rentals in Lubec

This cabin was great! So cozy, clean, and equipped with all the amenities one would need, a great view from the hot tub, will definitely be staying again in the future.

I’m not one for taking a lot of time to write a review, but this place is the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. Clean, beautiful, peaceful, private, and the attention to details is amazing. More than we ever expected, this place is amazing!

What a beautiful location , rich in history. The grounds are amazing with lots to do including walking trails. The receptionist was very friendly and took the time to give us a detailed explanation of where we were staying and where all the amenities were located. The breakfast was very good and the location is central to many attractions. Loved we could visit with our two dogs . I would certainly stay here again.

The cottage was a very peaceful and private place with beautiful views. My husband and I greatly enjoyed the relaxing setting and hot tub. I was able to read on the beach that looks out on the bay. It was great to also be so close to two towns with plenty to do and plenty of restaurants. Highly recommend the cottage for a relaxing place to stay.

What a beautiful spot! My siblings and I had an amazing stay and highly recommend checking out this piece of paradise! To be back on Lake Utopia after 15 years has been so memorable! We are so fortunate to stay on the same lake that we grew up on and visited every summer. This incredible space was absolutely stunning. Thank you Catherine! We will definitely be back!

It was my second time staying at turning tides cottages and I once again enjoyed my time on the island. Alie is a fantastic host!

We loved our stay here! It was central to everything but nice to just stay at the cottage if you prefer. Would love to come back again.

Enjoyed this comfortable cabin right on the lake with a great deck for watching the sunrise or practicing yoga. The beach area offered a dock, sand and kayaks/ canoe.

As a former teacher, I give Joseph A+ in communication. He answered every question I had, respon\ded very quickly and provided clear directions. The cottege was very clean when I arrived, and the location is absolutely beautiful. If you are an active person, there is so much to do in the Lubec area, and the FDR Bridge to beautiful Campobello Island is just a few miles away, making for an easy and most enjoyable day trip.

We travel to the area with some frequency but this was our first stay at Debra's cottage. The location was quiet and the view out to the water especially at sunrise was beautiful. Our dog felt right at home both inside and outside. Close to town but far enough out to enjoy the peace of your surroundings. We will definitely make this our place to stay when visiting the area!

Jeremy’s home is absolutely wonderful! The views are worth it alone! Gorgeous views of the bay with beautiful foliage. The home was updated and clean, with all the standard amenities. It was just like the photos. The view I would argue is better than the photos show! It is relatively private, you are next door to another home and a dock that the boats go off of, but still quiet. You can walk down to the beach area which is very cool, although there are some stairs and rocks, but my mom in her 60’s was able to get down them with some assistance. Milbridge restaurants are nearby with delicious food. Would definitely recommend and would go back!

Kurt’s place is always an awesome stay. The wood burning stove makes it really comfy. The views are amazing, truly. Remote, private, peaceful.

Kate’s property is amazing! It’s on the end of a gravel road, so it’s very private (It’s literally in the woods). The second we walked through the door we were blown away. Huge picture windows showing off the beautiful view of Orange Lake. The cabin itself was spotless. So clean and bright. It has a covered deck and an enclosed porch perfect for sitting and enjoying the views. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Plus the grill outside (we only used it once because it was cold and windy)The heat kept the place toasty warm and the shower was nice and hot. The beds were comfy! The WiFi worked great and there was even a smart tv with all the streaming services. All the comforts of home. We didn’t have any major issues but any small questions we had, Kate was very quick to respond. The dogs loved walking around the area, which consisted of dirt and gravel roads, so no traffic. Definitely an 11/10! We plan on returning!

We just spent 5 nights at this absolutely gorgeous cottage, and it far exceeded our expectations on EVERY level! We were absolutely blown away by the spotless cottage, beautiful high quality furnishings and bedding, and the most EPIC views we have EVER seen! We were mesmerized the entire time. From the stunning sunsets at the many seating areas, to the gorgeous private beach, there truly are no words to accurately convey how incredible this space is. We had deer visit us many times a day, and had so much fun watching the tide come in and out, looking for sea glass and watching the amazing salmon farms. This is our first trip to the East Coast and know this stay will be the highlight of our whole trip. Jennifer was so kind and accommodating, and we are incredibly grateful to have stayed at this stunning cottage. I can't recommend more highly! Thank you SO much Jennifer. If we are ever in New Brunswick again we will absolutely be back! Wishing you all the very best. ❤️

Thank you Bill and Teresa for a great stay! For a rustic little cabin, this was spotless. Very clean and very well equipped with cooking utensils, clean fridge, etc. I'd suggest getting groceries in Calais or Eastport if planning to utilize the kitchen amenities as the area does not have a grocery store. The bed was super comfortable, the mattress being so comfy. Felt like memory foam. We had a great sleep after attending the Piratefest in Eastport. Cabin#7 is up on a hill and the breeze was nice and cool, and did I say QUIET? Most peaceful. Lots of fun fishing the pond for pickerel, using the complementary rowboat on the pond, and canoe for the river. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who likes a rustic cabin experience. Once again, the place was very clean.

Our family had a great time during our visit at Darcy’s air bnb. We LOVED the private beach. We spent most of our time either walking the beach or relaxing by the little fire pit making s’more’s with the kids. We would recommend this place to anyone and we would definitely stay again.

Our entire vacation was ruined. We spent a week touring NB and PEI and never again experienced the level of serenity and hospitality that we enjoyed at Debbie & Neil’s. The home was immaculate, and Neil took the time to show us around even though we arrived later than expected. Upon leaving, we instantly regretted not booking the place for the entire week (though it likely wasn’t available). We are already looking for an excuse to come back and spend some quality time in L’Etete and with Debbie and Neil.

Beautiful location! It was great falling asleep to the sound of the waves below. There were some cute seals fishing in the cove and we got to watch them from the living room. The place had everything we needed and everything worked great. The neighbours were very close but because of the trees and cliff it still felt very private.

We were in the area briefly for a family gathering and we really enjoyed how cozy and well equipped the house was. It was warm and the wood burning stove was such a nice option to have. We have family that live in the area so it was a great meeting place for us all to gather and play games. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much!

We just had the most incredible stay here! I could live in this place! This home is impeccably clean, exquisitely furnished, and so well stocked- no need to bring anything. The views out to the water are mesmerizing - get ready for beautiful sunrises! A gorgeous deck overlooking the water and a huge firepit area will have you never wanting to leave. No detail was left out when Kazzie created this little slice of heaven! And, she showed us her other place available to rent as well - I believe it was called Mermaid Mist - equally as stunning with an open concept and views to die for. Now for Kazzie herself. Never have I met a host as incredible as her. Communication was amazing. She provided details about the place, directions, helpful tips, and great restaurant recommendations. She even baked us a blueberry buckle and peanut butter fudge during our stay! She's just the kindest and most thoughtful host we've ever come across. We can't wait to go back!

The River House was beautiful. The view from the kitchen, sun room and master bedroom are amazing. You can even see the river from the bed. The entire house is so cute and the decor is wonderful. There's plenty of room for everyone. We were working and I would make dinner for the crew every night and there is a big dining room table. We added the little "puzzle" table to the end; plenty of room for everyone. There are built in gas fire places that made the ambiance very cozy and the living room couch is fabulous. There are many special details in and out. People in town are great and even helped out on the paving job. This is definitely a place where one can enjoy a beautiful home, and relax. It feels like a vacation. We did go kayaking once and I saw a bald eagle, and that was magical. Outside there are cute areas to sit and look at the water with a great firepit. And its dog friendly, a must! Just keep them leashed as the front is on a busy road, but is still feels private.

Great place had everything you could need and so affordable. Will definitely be back
