“Fred and Angela were an amazing host,I could not have dreamt of having someone so welcoming and considerate. He went above and beyond to make us comfortable. As we were new immigrants,he even took us to walmart and also picked us up and gave us a lot of info about halifax.I had to extend my stay as the lease starts a little late and we booked his place again. It is conveniently located opposite the bus stop and has a very homely feel with all necessities. I would definitelty rate them more than 5 stars and recommend to everyone.”

“Mark was a straight-up, responsive and gracious host. His place is perfectly centrally located. It is a short walk to downtown, though far away enough to be in a true Halifax neighborhood with lots of interesting sights and amenities. Fully recommended!”
Private, bright 1 double-bed/1 bath/1 living room walkout basement unit with private entrance in friendly quiet house. Located on treed street in vibrant North End Halifax across from a coffee shop and close to restaurants, bars and a French bakery. 10-minute walk to downtown, five minutes to the top of Halifax Citadel, located around the Halifax Oval (free skates or rollerblades). In other words, all you need is within comfortable walking distance. Oh, and did we mention the morning Nespresso?
“Steffen’s spot was exactly what we were looking for. Great value for what you get. It’s located on a quiet street and it’s only a 10 minute walk to the downtown area. Lots of local shops nearby, and Steffen provided a list of options to us to check out. The space was great. A quiet retreat to unwind after a day of shopping and exploring. Host was amazing. Very friendly and personable.”
