Our house is a spacious country house from 1912 in the middle of a 5000 m² natural plot. It can accommodate 7-8 people, has been extensively renovated and furnished with antique farmhouse furniture and some design classics. Located on the edge of a village in the Western Pomeranian meadow not far from Szczecin and 1.5 hours from Berlin, you leave the crowded Uckermark behind you. Find relaxation or a quiet workplace in the hilly terminal moraine landscape with many small swimming lakes.

A house in the fields

The house is situated alone in a sea of fields, surrounded by the wind in a fantastic perennial garden. With the help of many artist colleagues and friends, this formerly unspectacular guesthouse from the 1990s was converted and renovated into a small oasis and a garden was created with the help of landscape designer Rainer Elstermann. In constant growth and change, an idyllic place was created - and is still being created - in which 10 people can be accommodated in the guest part.

Free rowboat use in Rieth included. We have reinterpreted the historical elements of the house. By exposing the original half-timbered beams inside, a spacious, airy living room with a gallery has been created. The robustly built chimney stands like a monolith in the room. Classic furniture from the early 70s is moved onto light wooden floorboards, the designer kitchen with a free cooking block and the crackling fireplace complete the feel-good atmosphere.

The accommodation, quietly situated on a dune on the edge of the Szczecin Lagoon Nature Park, has a large property with its own private parking, sunny spots, terraces, small retreats and shady spots. For barbecue evenings you can use the spacious terrace. Wi-Fi is available everywhere.

The paradisiacal houseboat La Péniche is moored at the jetty of the natural harbor Rieth at the very outer berth. We have designed the boat so that you have incredible views of the sea from all large windows and terraces and experience fairytale sunsets on the lagoon. You will love the design of the decor. After a walk in your boat sauna, cooling off in the lagoon and with a glass of wine on the sun deck, you will not want to leave the boat.

“Less is more” – This is one of the golden rules for good design, which guided us in the restoration of our farm in the Uckermark. The Birkenhof includes several acres of land with meadows, fruit and vegetable gardens and our small birch grove, which gave the farm its name. The farmhouse is ideal for families or small groups. The farmhouse can also be rented together with the stable building and laundry.

Farm with many places

We have finished renovating it, the old farmhouse of my grandparents! And now we look forward to guests who want to spend time in the northern Uckermark in a village of 160 souls. We rent the entire upper level with an area of 200 m² and the large garden with many places to linger. If you want, you can also camp in the garden or park with the van or sleep in one of the construction trailers.
