“The incredible site, you can breathe peace and tranquility. The apartment has all the comforts and is immaculate. My partner and I traveled with our pet and enjoyed the same or more than us. Very well located, in 4 days we went to visit Coimbra, Aveiro and Porto. In addition Amelia recommended some places nearby where to do outdoor activities. Amelia is a charm, you can count on her at all times, always very kind and very attentive. We will be back soon, we have been delighted.”
“All the positive reviews are true! Perfect host, perfect place. Close to station, supermarket and center. At first we were a little bit concerned because in day time you could hear the neighbors (so remember they can hear you too, so be polite and keep quiet) and traffic, but at night is was actually very quiet. We slept really well. Luis gave some good suggestions. Here are ours: restaurants: Anna’s. It’s very close by, in the building on the other site of the street. And Da Terra (in the building of Pingo Doce, entrance around the corner): it’s a very good vegetarian restaurant. We were lucky with the trains. Sometimes they have promotions. Like in December return tickets in weekend and official holidays on the Porto urban train for just 2€. If you stay for a longer periode you can do your laundry in the laundromat on the ground floor of the building. All in all, an amazing stay - and thank you so much Luis for showing us the the town upon arrival, as that made us feel at home straight away.”
Great little house in small working village near Coimbra ( 25'away). Between Lousa(8 K) and Miranda da Corvo (14k). Quiet and peaceful, with views over fields. Fully equipped for Summer, April to September. BBC Channels , Dutch, French and German channels plus a few others.....about 400 of them! There is NO Portuguese TV Chanel's Electric wall mounted radiators and a log burning fire.
“Michele was a wonderful welcoming and thoughtful host. We were traveling with our 1-year old daughter who loved her garden, dogs and cats. Her house is beautiful and very clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay and especially for cooking. Michele’s hospitality was really outstanding, she even had fresh fruits and figs from the garden and milk, bread, croissants and jam for breakfast. We had some nice talks with her too and really felt at home at her beautiful place. We would highly recommend anyone to stay at Michele’s place who is looking for a peaceful, quiet and comfortable getaway in Portugal.”
