The space
You’ll feel as though you’ve gotten away with something at Ocean’s 11 Villa. Set in an exclusive private community on the postcard-worthy shores of Phang Nga Bay near Phuket, the villa has panoramic views and a full staff ready to make your stay unforgettable. Architecture and decor that blend the best of traditional Thai and modern Western style give the six-bedroom property a five-star feel.
Your stay at the villa starts with an airport transfer, and once you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by a chef, housekeeper and property manager. During your stay, enjoy the ocean breezes in one of the terrace’s lounge areas, the waterfront sala or the pergola-covered dining area. Keep up with your routine in the home’s fitness room, or let yourself relax in the spa space. In the evenings, entertain at the bar or in the home theater.
The villa’s peaked roof is a nod to traditional Thai architecture (and creates an open, airy space beneath), but the interiors of Ocean’s 11 have a luxe, state-of-the-art feel. The long living room, which faces the ocean, has ample seating on crisp white sectionals, enlivened by bright cushions in artisanal prints. A lounge by the bar is a bit sleeker, with glass-topped coffee tables and glossy tile floors, and the dining room, which seats twelve, has striped upholstered chairs that feel both sophisticated and fun. The fully equipped kitchen pairs wood and white cabinets with a watery blue backsplash.
Each of the six bedrooms at Ocean’s 11 Villa has a king bed, en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, and, most importantly, sea or garden views. There’s one bedroom on the ground level, which has its own sitting area. On the first lower level, you’ll find three bedrooms, including the master, all of which have access to the terrace. The second lower level has two bedrooms; one has its own sitting area and terrace access.
Though an airport transfer is included in your stay, you can anticipate a 25-minute trip from Phuket International to the villa. Once you’ve arrived, it’s a 15-minute drive to Ao Por Grand Marina and a 20-minute drive to the town of Phuket, the beaches of Layan, Bang Tao and Surin, and the Laguna, Blue Canyon and Mission Hills golf courses. It’s a 17-mile drive from the property to Patong and an 18-mile drive to the Phi Phi Island ferry.
