Comfortable home with a lot of beds and bathrooms. Beds were comfortable. Close to trails. Would stay again.

My friends and I stayed at the property for my birthday weekend. The property, the experience, and the memories were amazing; we all had a great time. I hope to stay here again soon. Would highly recommend!

This cottage is in a very nice quiet location within a couple hundred yards of the water. There’s a small beach area for the kids, and a dock to fish off of. The cottage itself was clean, and met our needs. The owners were polite, and communication was good throughout our stay, but they won’t bug you either if you prefer privacy. Overall a lovely little cottage on the water for a fun weekend with the kids. We would likely stay again and would consider renting other places from Steven and Linda as well. Was a great experience start to finish.

I asked my 9, 8 & 5 year old about the best part of our stay, and they all agreed that the hot tub, fire pit for s’mores and the board games were the best part. I enjoyed having a quiet space to get homework done with a view of the water. This was the perfect get away for a family of 5! We enjoyed staying inside, cooking meals & enjoying the house itself. It is beautiful inside and out, exactly like the photos and had everything we needed for our stay. We can’t wait to come back during the summer time to go out on the lake!

We had the best time staying at Renee and Claudia’s, there was an insane snow store and it was difficult to get in the night we arrived. Literally within the hour they had the drive to the cabin plowed and the cabin driveway plowed. It was a peaceful and wonderful week. Will definitely be back next year!! Thank you!!

This home is a little slice of heaven. The view of the creek and all the trees is just what we needed for a change of scenery in March. The 4 seasons room with all the windows was the best place to hang out and had the most comfortable couch. The openness of the entire house helped us feel like we were all together all of the time. Being able to bring our dog was also a bonus. There's a door right on the deck with steps to the yard for the dog. She had a blast exploring the property! I would have thought that a place that allowed dogs would have had a dog smell, but it didn't at all. You'd never know that other dogs had stayed there. It snowed about 3 inches while we were there, and a snow shovel was left on the porch for us, which we did use. Anything and everything that you could possibly need was provided. I brought a few kitchen things I needed (like a hand mixer and kitchen brush for food), only to find that they had those items there! They literally provided everything!

Comfortable and cozy stay in a beautiful setting - about 30 minutes out from Boyne and even closer to downtown Gaylord. Would highly recommend!

Mardi was a wonderful host! Her place was comfortable and had everything you would ever need. Would definitely stay at Mardi’s place again and would definitely recommend.
