Heater and double glazing makes this ideal in winter or summer, and a chemical loo in the cabin at ground level adds a creature comfort. Our Idyllic cottage which is set in the country side overlooking the north downs, which offers two guest accommodation. It is separate from the main family home which offers a cosy/secluded space with an open-plan kitchen and living area. Built in 1630 The Old Granary Barn looks on to one of Kent's last working windmills. It's on the Minnis, where cattle and sheep graze. An idyllic and tranquil spot, 8 miles from the historic city of Canterbury. The Old Granary Barn is only 500m from a great pub and a very friendly, well stocked village shop which has everything you may need during your stay. The windmill is open every Sunday and bank holidays throughout the summer for guided tours and cream teas.
