Cute cottage in Machynlleth centre

Originally stables, the cottage has been converted to one-up-one-down self-catering accommodation. Double bed, shower, washing machine, sofa-bed and well equipped kitchen. Easy to get to via public transport. 10 min walk from station and 5 mins to bus stops. It's very close to the shops, cafes etc. Cycle parking available. There is usually space to park a car on the drive, but be aware that the entrance is a bit narrow. We also have an EV charger. We have swifts nesting between May and August.

Magic Mountain Cottage: family- & dog-friendly

There is nowhere quite as magical as this: an historic, creaky cottage, at the end of a farmers track below Cader Idris. It's a back-in-time experience, with wooden beams and antique furniture, owned by the same family for over 60 years. Please read all the details carefully before you book. It’s remote both in location and from modern life. You have space, fresh air and tranquillity. It's comfortable but nothing fancy. No TV or wifi, but a woodburner, books and massive views behind the cottage.

You will stay in a self catered annex attached to the main house. With its own private entrance it is a self-contained unit with a bedroom, living room, walk in wet room and a kitchen. Every room benefits from central heating and the living room contains a wood burning stove for those cosy evenings.
