Modern vacation house implanted on the hang above the small town of Velas, in São Jorge Island, with a unique view over the ocean channel between the triangle islands (São Jorge, Pico and Faial). They are 5 walking minutes (going downhill) from the centre of Velas (shopping, cafés, restaurants), and 10 minutes from the natural swimming pools in the ocean. Please take into consideration that the return way on foot includes a steep climb of about 100 meters. It is 700 m until the harbour of Velas.

Praia do Almoxarife - Casa da Partira "the grinding"

About 4 km north of the city of Horta is Almoxarife Beach. In the "moagem" space, there is life in every corner, in the garden there is a water cistern and a threshing floor. It has a traditional moth architecture that dates back to the beginning of the last century. In grinding, a philosophy based on the traditional and sustainable is practiced. It consists of: apartment, garden, craft workshop, farm with animals, vegetables, fruits and seeds of traditional varieties.

Landscape and Nature are the key words. Set in a vineyard in the landscape protected from vineyard culture, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the surrounding environment is breathtaking. Surrounded by stone walls, the famous "vineyard corrals", anywhere you look will find a fantastic view, being able to see the mountain of Pico, the island of Faial and the island of São Jorge (islands of the Triangle) and the sea.

A beautifully decorated and equipped apartment with everything you need for a relaxing vacation and enjoying the wonderful island of Faial. The apartment is located in a slightly higher part of the city, so we recommend a car for those who don't enjoy walking. Free parking is always available next to the apartment.

Townhouse on the island of Pico in Madalena, the largest city on the island. Walking-distance to the shore, market, and town-center. Very pretty views of the ocean and island of Faial from the front of the house and a small private backyard. All new mattresses installed July 2025!
