Guest house holiday rentals in Mae Hi

Everyone is very friendly. The breakfast was amazing. The dogs and cats were friendly as well. If I come back to pai, I will stay here again.

Watchara’s farm was the perfect little escape from cities and bustle. We got the yellow bus from Chiang Mai with some lovely other backpackers also going to the same or similar farms in the area. The volunteer aspect was optional for us as Air BnB guests, but I’d recommend getting involved as hacking down bamboo in the jungle is a pretty cool experience that I’m grateful for. Cheers Watchara! Dang is such a kind and funny host too with the best sticky rice we’ve ever tried. Bring some extra cash for food as not all lunch and dinners are included in the price (50 baht per meal ish). 10/10 recommend for 4 days or more :)

We had a lovely stay at Bupha’s place. It’s a little bit out of Pai town so quieter which we liked but does mean you’ll need to consider getting a bike to get yourself around. Would definitely stay here again, great price, lovely place!

Very nice rooms, clean and spacious. Comfortable bed. There is a small outdoor area to sit in the shade with a fridge available. The hosts are very nice, they have provided us with a kettle and we have arranged a taxi transfer to the city center for free on the day of our departure.

Bougain Villas are in a large farmland area with animals grazing in fields adjacent. They overlook Chiang Dao mountain (when the mist allows 🙂), and another resort called Mountain View, which occasionally had music, though didn’t go on late. We were upstairs in No.5, and the room was very clean, tidy and comfortable - with free coffee pods, bottled water and noodle pots… a nice touch. We had a good size fridge, kettle, Nespresso style coffee m/c, dehumidifier, and mosquito nets around the bed - excellent. Any time we had issues, Aude was instantly available which made the stay even better - for instance, we had a bad ingress of ants nesting in the bathroom one night (fact of life in jungle), and she was round in an instant dealing with it. Externally, the shrubs and vines could probably do with a trim back (some of that was happening), as the villas are quite enveloped nowadays - but that’s only slight drawback we could see. Overall, a lovely place, well worth the money… thanks.

I had a fantastic 4 nights here. The hosts are very good at responding and making sure everything is okay. The lady who checked me in is absolutely great. Friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout the whole 4 days. As to are the local residents. About a 15 min walk to the Main Street. The accommodation is in a peaceful area.

This homestay is much more beautiful than the photos show. The entire structure is built into the mountainside, adjacent to a small stream. The decor is modern, the property is spacious, and it offers great privacy. There's a beautiful swimming pool (though I didn't have time to take a dip), and the TV provides access to Netflix and YouTube. The bathroom is clean, and the shower facilities are excellent. The room is close to the stream, and the soothing sound of flowing water creates a very relaxing atmosphere. Overall, this place is perfect for travelers who enjoy the tranquility of mountain forests but also desire a comfortable accommodation experience.
