Villa holiday rentals in Makahuena Point

A great place. A great ocean view from the balcony, from which we could whale watch. Within walking distance of a good kiddie beach with nesting turtles. It had a set of steep stairs, for which we had to rent a kiddie gate for our toddler, but that was easy to do.

This was a great place to stay in Princeville. Make sure to ask about the credit card hold, and other additional fees that aren’t mentioned in the original cost. This is part of a time share complex so you’ll be asked to watch a preview but this is optional.

The home is very cozy, beautifully decorated and beds where very comfortable. Really enjoyed stayng here in a great location near the water was able to walk out to see the sunset. Really great communication prior to arrival. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Thank you, Gary! We had an incredible stay at your beautiful condo. The ocean views were stunning. The condo was very comfortable. We’re picky about beds - they were very comfy. Gary has provided every utensil you could need and everything is good quality. With being on the top floor no one is above you including on the balcony. It was incredibly quiet and private. Main noise once in a while was the crow of a rooster which we didn’t mind at all. In case you haven’t been to Kauai, wild chickens are everywhere, they even greeted us at the airport. Between the Princeville shopping center and Hanalei you will find groceries and great restaurants. Don’t miss the Princeville Farmers Market on Saturday mornings. Disability note: I have a knee injury and didn’t realize that there were stairs up to the condo when we booked. I managed the stairs with the help of a very sturdy railing and my cane. I was concerned about the stairs before going but it worked out well. I came home stronger! Enjoy.

Wonderful, large 2 bedroom / 2 bath place a short walk from Poipu beach! The condo/townhouse is super nice - felt recently renovated. We easily settled in and felt comfortable lounging around in the space. Good privacy for groups because the bedrooms are on the lower level and on opposite sides. En-suite bathrooms for both (though one has a door to the hallway). A/C units and fans throughout for great climate control. Four outdoor seating areas + large living/dining space = lots of places to hangout. WiFi was fast and reliable. Main TV is huge! The pool on the property is solid - nice view of the ocean (and nice spot to hangout for the sunset). We liked that there were included beach chairs (though would have been nice to have an umbrella too). Also includes three hard-sided coolers! Would certainly go back!

We had the best stay! The Villa was beautiful, spacious and very comfortable for a family of 6 (4 adults, 2 kids.) It was an easy 5 minute walk to Brennecke’s Beach and it was very convenient to have beach chairs, boogie boards and a wagon available to haul it all to the beach! The lanai was wonderful and incredibly spacious, we will miss spending quiet mornings outside drinking our coffee and listening to the birds. This unit does not appear to have any downstairs neighbors, which was a plus for us with little feet running around! None of us wanted to leave at the end of our stay, we will definitely look at renting this unit again in the future!

Beautiful and comfortable home. Very peaceful and quiet. The ocean is right there along with some really great restaurants. We will definitely be back!

This villa is breathtaking! The inside is gorgeous and spacious, we were pleasantly surprised at how nice and roomy the place was as it is hard to portray that accurately in photos. The neighborhood is stunning with wonderful walking paths to the beach. We took a sunset walk almost every evening. The host shared tons of food recommendations near the villa which was helpful. The location is ideal and we had an incredible time!!

We had an excellent “Babymoon” at this vacation getaway. The Parrish Kauai property, was easy to find, clear check-in instructions and warm and inviting upon our arrival. Check in was even available earlier than listed on our specific date. We enjoyed coffee in the morning and a beautiful sunset in the evening on the lanai. Everything was comfortable and clean. We’re usually a bit cautious when it comes to renting through Airbnb or similar sites, but I can confidently say this rental is totally worth it. The owner was incredibly kind, responsive, and communicative—which I really appreciated. He followed through on everything he said he would, which made the whole experience feel even more seamless. The home looked exactly like the photos. While the exterior is a bit dated, the inside has been beautifully renovated—super clean, comfortable, and a great place to relax after a day in the sun. There were plenty of walking paths nearby, and it was only about a 10-minute drive to Hanalei, where we ended up spending most of our time. If I had to mention one potential downside, it would be the beach access. While the listing mentions public access, it actually involves a fairly steep downhill walk—which, of course, means a steep climb on the way back. I would still come back to this rental in a heartbeat!

We really enjoyed our stay! The hosts provide a lot of extra little things that we appreciated: beach chairs & toys, as well as laundry and kitchen items that are not always provided with other rentals. We really felt at home. The location is excellent: very close to Brennecke's Beach and a short walk to Poipu Beach. Only area for improvement in my view was the pool area: the hot tub was not heated, and periodically there was a strong sewer smell there. Overall, we really liked the place and would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. We received a 2-bedroom suite instead of the 1-bedroom we had booked. Very spacious and modern unit, beautiful kitchen. There weren’t any breathtaking views described in the listings, but the amenities were great - 2 pools with fountains and hot tubs definitely added to the great experience. 24/7 staff was very friendly and helpful. There were 3 trucks parked at the resort, otherwise restaurants were a 10 min drive away. Beach was a 15 min drive.

We were not disappointed with the condo. The location was better than we expected and the condo interior was very nice. We loved the views from our deck and enjoyed coffee there every morning. We would highly recommend Nihi Kai #803. When ever we come to Poipu Beach, we would stay there again.

We felt quite at home. We had a little one with us & felt the beaches, grounds & home were very toddler friendly. We loved sitting on the front lawn & watching all the sea life with good snorkeling and kiddie beaches within an easy walk

Wonderful stay in Koloa within 5 minute walk to Poipu Beach! The Parrish team was very responsive and the maintenance team took care of our concerns very quickly! The condo was well stocked with all of the kitchen necessities and the space was super comfortable! We would love to come again if we return to Kauai!!

This was our 15th visit to the beautiful island of Kauai and our best thanks to our stay at Parrish Kauai! From its location right on brennecke beach, to the amenities in the apartment, the views, the serenity, it was truly bliss and our 8 days spent in the Nihi Kai villas in unit 500 were truly memorable! Grateful to Parrish Kauai for being truly responsive and making our stay unforgettable!
