Sleeping up to eight people, this is the perfect holiday home for families or groups of friends looking to escape and enjoy each others company. Tabbs Cottage is surrounded by thatched cottages and accessed from the road by a quiet pedestrian lane. From the lane, the cottage is accessed through a white picket fence into the welcoming cottage garden. A path leads you around the house to the entrance hall. From the entrance hall is a superb and characterful kitchen diner with views through the sunroom into the garden. The sun room is the perfect place to relax, read a book or have a glass of wine with comfy Lloyd loom wicker chairs and French doors leading out to the garden and outdoor seating area. A large yet cosy living room is accessed from the kitchen, with woodburning stove, beams and a piano, perfect for atmospheric evenings in. A utility room with playful seaside mural, washer/dryer and compact freezer. The ground floor shower room is perfect for hopping straight in from long days at the beach. On the first floor you will find three bedrooms, one super king, bunk room sleeping four and one king complete with ensuite shower room. The simple, calm decoration combined with comfortable bedding ensures a peaceful nights sleep after exciting days out. Outside, a lawn provides the space for children to play and patio area houses a comfortable rattan table, chairs and charcoal BBQ perfect for al fresco dinning. Cosy One bedroom semi detached annex with private parking and garden. Our cottage is perfect for a quiet winter break storm chasing or a lovely summer break by the sea. Situated near the South West coast path and walking distance (20mins walk 1 mile) to pubs and beaches at Hope Cove and South Milton Sands. Salcombe and Kingsbridge less than 10 mins drive away! We are very happy for you to bring dogs but we request that they are not left at home unattended and that you clean up after them.

Our home is set on Dartmoor National Park surrounded by some of the UK’s most stunning scenery. The house is light and spacious with a well kept garden overlooking beautiful Dartmoor. Plenty of parking as well. There are many different walks straight from our doorstep, and many cycle routes. Ten minute drive away is Tavistock an ancient pannier market town. Five minutes walk to the local pub. So many Devon attractions within driving distance and about an hour to Devon and Cornish coasts.
