Hønsehus Nedre Snartemo Farm

You will spend the night in the immediate vicinity of Snartemobekken which is a tributary of the river Lygna where the salmon play. Nedre Snartemo is an old farm with a barn that is under restoration. On the farm there are traces of settlement from the pre-Roman Iron Age and all the way to our time. The famous Snartemo sword was found just 200 meters away - in other words, you live in the middle of history. Cabin of about 14m2 in Haugenes in Bjelland. The cabin has electricity, but no running water. Bath/shower can be used in the outhouse on the farm about 200 meters from the cabin. Bunk bed with room for 2 people, as well as a sofa bed that can be used as a double bed. The cabin is idyllically located by Manflåvann which is part of the salmon-bearing stretch in Mandalselva. Canoe and kayak for children can be used freely by guests at the cabin.
