The stone house of Gonzalo is a beautiful gem within the Incan old town of Ollantaytambo. Gonzalo describes the amenities as "minimalist" and it is. It has everything it needs, albeit rudimentary. The kitchen and living room are in the basement. You have to get out of the house and get back upstairs if you want to get to the bedrooms. The lower rooms are rather dark, the upper ones beautifully illuminated by light roof tiles. With the temperatures in April in Peru, it can get cold in the house. The beds and blankets are warm enough. - Thanks to the old town, you can't drive to the house. We had to carry the suitcases a bit. But it wasn't too far! - Gonzalo is a heart of a person. He welcomed us personally, showed us everything, organized a parking space and introduced restaurants in person. It was super flexible and extremely nice! We definitely recommend the place.

Everything is very nice, quiet area and for rest. The cleanliness and design of the house we loved it.

Our group loved our stay with Rommel, he was a great host, very communicative and made check in very easy. The house was great, our only regret is that we didn’t have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoor space! Would highly recommend a stay here!

I had the best sleep here, than I've had in my 3 weeks in Peru. Calmed by the sounds of the river. The room is spacious, clean, and the beds are comfy. Macarena is a wonderful, kind, and very helpful host. The setting in nature is so serene and quiet, with easy access to beautiful nature

My second time staying with Maca and Diego. They’re truly wonderful people! They have a beautiful property, and I would recommend it to anyone who’s interested in staying in Ollantaytambo.

The house is located in Chilca, surrounded by nature and perfect for disconnecting. We really enjoyed exploring the nearby river and hiking the area, which is really peaceful and picturesque. If you are looking for tranquility and beauty, this is the place. Also, Percy, the host, was very attentive and was always available for any questions, making sure our stay was perfect. ¡Thank you Percy! I hope to return soon.

We had a really great stay here. Before we were even there, we had a great communication and already a lot of infos about the way to the place etc. The place was really nice and Melva and Darwen were really helpful in terms of activities we could do around the place. All in all it was a really nice and calming stay with a lot of help from the two, I think they’re one of the best hosts you could probably have:)

The accommodation and location are great, just minutes from the central square and the tourist part of the ruins, even has a terrace to observe the stars and the landscape, I highly recommend.
