The Coach House | A Cottage & Garden By The Sea

Welcome to the Coach House – an 1830s listed mews cottage on a historic square right by the beach and on the edge of Margate’s Old Town. This is a central, cocooning and calming retreat, whether you're sightseeing or beachcombing. Walk 10 seconds to see the sea, 5 minutes and you're on the sand, or 1 second to sit in the garden. We've furnished the home slowly, with mid-century treasures, contemporary pieces, and a few Georgian antiques as a nod to the building's beginnings.

Cosy Old Town Cottage, close to the Sea

We love Margate and we think our cottages are the perfect base to make the most of all that this amazing town has to give! Cottage no 15 is located right in the heart of Margate's Old Town. It is one of two cottages that we offer, both of which are tucked away in a private gated courtyard on Love Lane. The cottages are literally yards from the many shops, restaurants, cafes and bars that the Old Town has to offer and are a stone's throw from the beautiful harbour and beach.

Stay and Swim at our home & private indoor pool.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Stay and Swim is just a couple of minutes walk from the beach at Westbay and the indoor pool, with endless swim current, is available all year round. The property has a private garden with seating area and newly refurbished rooms with sky views. Rest assured Nick holds a Level Three qualification in pool plant operation so we know to make sure the pool is always clean and healthy.

Historic Trinity Square, Margate (The Hodges)

The Hodges is a bright and airy second floor flat overlooking Margate's historic Trinity Square and is within a couple of minutes walking distance of the Old Town, seafront, Winter Gardens and Turner Contemporary art gallery. Ideal for enjoying seaside fun and adventuring to nearby beaches such as Botany Bay and Kingsgate. The comfortable large double bed complete with Egyptian cotton linens makes for restful sleeping.
