Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Marion County

Great place in a peaceful location. Michelle was a great host.

This was our second stay in the “Sisters Cabin”, and just like our first in 2022, it did not disappoint! Located on a bluff in bucolic, sylvan Monteagle, TN, this is a quiet, restful retreat that features super-comfortable beds, killer sunsets and views and a lovely covered back porch. Colene and her sister, Carla, are consummate, communicative hosts who go the extra mile to make sure you feel at home and are well taken-care of! Carla even came by twice during our weekend to drop off some blankets during an unexpected May cold snap and to re-light the fireplace pilot light. It can be a little tricky to find the place at night or if it’s your first visit, but that is part of the “off-the-beaten-path” vibe that enhances the retreat-like atmosphere of the property. We can’t recommend this quaint, comfortable and clean-as-whistle cabin enough! We also were pleased to see some upgrades and refreshed amenities (blackout blinds, new tile shower in the 3rd BR). We loved our stay! The area was very peaceful, close to incredible waterfalls. We'd definitely love to come back for another visit.

This space provided a wonderful getaway for a girls weekend with close friends. The beds are comfortable, the creature comforts (blankets and sheets) are well appointed, and the screened in deck in the back of the house is full of zen! Thank you for creating a space to unplug and recharge. My girlfriends and I loved our time together in your not so tiny, tiny home :-)

Katie’s home was a beautiful place to rest and enjoy. My sisters and I spent 4 days there while we worked, cooked, relaxed and celebrated my birthday. The home is fully stacked with all the supplies you need from bedrooms, bathrooms and all the kitchen appliances you can think of. The house was clean and the decor was fitting. The view outside was stunning. The only confusing part is the home is in CST time zone but the owners place EST time zone on all the electronics. It makes it difficult when your phones are giving you the actual time zone. I do think because the home is in CST check out and arrival times should match the time zone you are actually in. The confusion caused us to leave an hour before we had to. Other than that- it was the perfect place and WE WILL COME BACK.

Very nice house, comfortable beds, great patio and great yard for our dogs. Not easy to find but once we read the specific instructions from the direction we came from we went right to it. We never had direct contact with any of the neighbors but the yard signs were not welcoming. We enjoyed our time spent there.

Robbie was an excellent host! he even helped with changing out my headlight in my car, which means a lot because i got a ticket for it being out. the place was very comfortable, peaceful as well, had everything my children and i needed for our stay. we really enjoyed our stay, also check in is very flexible, Robbie accepted our short notice request stay with no problems and it was around 11pm when we arrived from traveling all day. i would definitely stay again if we pass by the area again.

Great French doors to enjoy the lovely shaded family yard. A very well-appointed basement apartment. Very comfy bed. All the pillows and linens you'll need. Friendly nice non-barking dog. Super friendly sweet cat who escorts you to your door and back to your car. Our 5 year granddaughter said, " I'm going to miss that cat"

We had a wonderful stay at Michael and Hilde’s place! The location was peaceful and beautiful, offering a perfect getaway. We needed to check in late, and they provided incredibly detailed instructions with pictures, which we really appreciated. We also brought our dog, who had a great time socializing with their friendly and adorable pups. Michael and Hilde were warm, welcoming, and very accommodating. Despite some bad weather over the weekend, they thoughtfully reached out to offer suggestions in case we needed shelter for the night. We would love to return and enjoy the close proximity to the water next time!

With an expansive view of Tim’s Ford Lake from a bluff on a private and peaceful peninsula, we had a lovely stay in this well appointed and affordable place. The lake is accessible from stairs down to a peaceful dock from which kayaks can be launched. It also gives easy access to tailwater below the dam where we caught a goodly number of rainbow and brown trout. Being able to watch movies in the evening after grilling out on the enormous projection unit with surround sound was quite a bonus. The view from the master overlooking the lake, and the wind down opportunity in the hot tub with the same gorgeous view were really fantastic features as well. We had a lovely time.

Our stay was wonderful. The house was very clean and comfy. We loved seeing the rabbits in the yard in the morning and afternoons. Ginger (the dog) and her friend the kitty was super sweet and friendly and the best greeters you could have lol. It was a very private and quiet stay even though the owners are located on the same property. The property is very pretty with the wildflowers and gardens. We would definitely stay here in the future.

Cynthia’s home was perfect for our overnight stay on our way to Tybee Island! My husband appreciated the delicious muffins that were left for a breakfast treat!

Amazing spot, very close to a lot of activities and food. The spacious space worked perfectly for us and had everything that we’d need. The host offered local recommendations and was very responsive.
