Great place!

I highly recommend staying here for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse themselves in nature. I can’t wait to return! We got to enjoy a fire dance and even a little live music. Couldn’t have asked for a better start to spring for our family.

Everything was as it was in the pictures. Our stay was amazing. Kurt and Jillyn were very responsive. The Hen House was great. Very clean. There was a lot of privacy and very quiet. The mattress was very comfortable, plenty of hot water and great water pressure in the shower. I would definitely recommend the Hen House to others. I would definitely give them a Golden Egg. We even purchased 6 dozen eggs from them when we left. We would absolutely come back. Some places to go are Pella, IA and we went to the John Wayne birthplace museum in Winterset, IA.

This property was very nice and conveniently located near shopping and restaurants. It is situated in a subdivision with walking paths nearby. There is plenty of space for everyone to relax and stretch out. I would definitely stay at this location again.

Wonderful stay in a adorable apartment with a stunning view. Perfect for a much-needed getaway. Situated right by the pond with a lovely hot tub.

Exactly the lake visit I was hoping for. Peaceful, close to nature, with beautiful, comfortable lodging!

We were in town for a weekend wedding at the end of March. The quantity of bedrooms and sleeping space was great for my large family. It was nice to be able to park in the garage also. The location was easy to find and convenient for all of our wedding activities. The value was excellent- staying at a hotel with my large family would have been much more expensive and not as much fun, as we could all be together comfortably in the house!

The home was very nice and clean. Annette responded to my questions within a few minutes. This was my first time staying in an airbnb and I would definitely recommend this house to stay at.

As a 35 week pregnant mom with 2 littles at home and nursing school finals on Monday, getting away to the cabin was exactly what I needed! Not only was it so peaceful that I could focus and study for an extended period of time, but it was also incredibly comfortable. (And the jet tub was just icing on the cake!) Ernie & Mindy may have been some of the nicest Airbnb hosts I’ve booked with so far. They were incredibly welcoming- even bringing us some delicious raspberry + white chocolate muffins and chatting for a bit. Reminded me of my dad a bit! I’ll definitely be back- Id love a chance to explore the land when I’m not super pregnant. Thanks for everything!
