Large estate, miles of trails, cozy glamping hut S

ShellyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We came into town for a wedding at The White Barn which was about a 15 minute drive. We loved the property and walked about 4 miles of trails and did some fishing and saw a LOT of deer. The cabin was perfect for my husband and I to unwind and realx- our cell service ( verizon) was a bit spotty but we were totally ok with unplugging a bit. The cabin had everything we needed and the bathouse was spotless! Thank you for making it such an enjoyable stay for us!! ~ Shelly & Jamie

Little Lodge

Our family and I always look forward to our yearly trip to Michael’s cabin. We love how it’s gorgeously decorated for the holiday and how cozy it feels. It truly feels like our home away from home. Michael has always been a splendid host who is very warm and very accommodating. Our stay at Michael’s cabin is the perfect way to end our year and is always a major highlight! Thank you immensely Michael! The memories we have created in your dear home throughout the years are absolutely priceless!

Unique Smokehouse on historic Manor House grounds!

MarkRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What a unique place to stay for the few days while visiting family over Christmas. It got a little tight inside once we setup the dog crates, but it was still doable. The bed in the loft was comfortable but did hit my head a couple of times on that beam. LOL. Overall a great place to stay. We'll definitely try to book it again the next time we're in town. Though probably the main house next time since we never took the time to checkout the inside.

Nautical Charm and relaxing waterview!

LeeRating, 5 stars3 months ago
I stayed here visiting family nearby. The place is very clean and set up thoughtfully for guests. I really appreciated that it was already stocked with some coffee and creamers, so I didn't need to go shopping right after arriving. The neighborhood is small but walkable and has two good seafood restaurants a short walk away. Pam provided clear instructions and communication.

Romantic cabin getaway with hot tub

AllisonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The cabin was adorable and so clean! The hot tub was beautiful and we had a perfect night to relax in it. We passed the driveway a couple times coming in and even upon returning from dinner. Lol! A marker at the road might help with that. There may even be one there and just covered by snow. We loved the place and would definitely return!

Spruce Run Cottage, Farm stay on Catoctin Mountain

SaraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Gillian's place is peaceful and cozy. It is surrounded by beautiful woods and feels secluded but is still an easy drive from Frederick or Hagerstown. The cabin has a wonderful wood burning stove, a very well-equipped kitchen, and a very comfortable bed with super soft flannel sheets. It is a perfect location for a romantic getaway. In fact, this was our second stay at the property in two years and are going to make it a yearly trip. Gillian is a very responsive host and if you want a delicious breakfast, she makes amazing biscuits and serves them with tasty butter and jams. We highly recommend Gillian's place and will continue to stay there. And if you are lucky, you will be greeted by a sweet ginger cat and possibly even a cow or two.

Private guesthouse in heart of Silver Spring

SarahRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Excellent stay! Just the right size for my husband and me over the Thanksgiving weekend. The guesthouse is well-appointed and attractive, with a sitting area and kitchen space with a small fridge, coffeemaker and microwave. The bed is very comfortable, and the spacious bathroom has an amazing shower. Despite being in a fairly densely-populated urban area, the apartment felt very private, quiet and peaceful. Conveniently located close to downtown Silver Spring and its restaurants, shops, and easy access to the Metro. Alice was responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay again!

Long Beach Cottage, Hot Tub,Wood Burning Fireplace

BrandonRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Dave and Barb's cottage was wonderful. We really enjoyed the soaking tub and large shower. The Breville espresso maker was a morning game changer, so much so that I'm purchasing my own for home. It was snowing, but the fireplace made for a cozy and relaxing evening. The hot tub was exactly the stress reliever we needed on our vacation. Lastly, the views of the water in the morning were absolutely serene. I have already recommended the cottage to friends and relatives and I am also looking into their other properties for our summer vacation. 10/10.

Tree house resort spa with sauna &heated salt pool

NickRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Damian went above and beyond to put in some background work. We messaged before my stay in regard to firewood and he provided some along with a Duraflame log so that I didn’t have to stress about getting the fire started. He surprised us with a bouquet of roses and a bottle of wine. The place was just as described and depicted and the tree cover in the backyard truly left you feeling like you were in the woods and not just in a suburban town. The hot tub was hot and required no heating up. The kitchen was stocked with all cookware and silverware that is needed for a meal or two. Damian even allowed an extra hour for check out and was very responsive. He met us when we came in and asked if anything else was needed. Overall great stay in a “tiny home” built for a fun getaway that doesn’t leave you wanting to leave the stay itself!

The Cottage at Tiny Hidden Ridge

AlexaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
As another review has said, this cottage is even better in person and a lot less rudimentary than a cabin in the woods may first appear. Tara provided clear instructions to the cottage and was very responsive (e.g. we asked for drinking water to be filled up and was done right away). The cabin itself was very cute and inviting - we loved having breakfast on the porch in the morning sun. Really easy to get to Harper's Ferry but also nice to be out of the hustle and bustle. We would love to stay again.

The Beach Camper

NicoleRating, 5 stars6 months ago
both hosts were extremely responsive, communicated mainly with Mike. Very helpful, patient and kind. The camper has everything you need and is incredibly convenient, walk right across the street for the beach. Neighbors are nice, it's quiet and clean. Really can not beat the price for everything you get. My kids loved they stay, we will definitely be back.

Staying at Renee’s was a blessing. Very responsive host that offered to even drive me to a local store when I needed to get groceries. Was very responsive and helped me settle in with ease. The place itself was cozy and peaceful, very clean and had everything that I needed and more! Really enjoyed the peaceful and quiet surrounding area. Definitely consider staying here if you plan on visiting, you won’t regret it!

Chesapeake Birdhouse Studio

Lisa (Dan)Rating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a lovely stay. everything was exactly as described. Alicia was instantly available by text, and check in was very easy. the studio is located down a quaint pathway to the back and was very quiet. there were many windows and decorated very nicely and extremely clean. We were able to walk to breakfast and restaurants within a few blocks and even back and forth downtown, which was about a 20 minute walk. Love the neighborhood. Note that the bed is very soft for those that love a cushy comfortable bed.
