Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Mason County

We immediately felt at home with the cozy and welcoming decor. The personal touches made it feel more like a family cottage than a rental which was a major plus! The kitchen had everything we needed - including condiments, baking items and spices. We cooked most of our meals at the cottage so we could maximize our beach time and watch every sunset. The grill was so clean we figured it was brand new. The cottage was clean and had lots of extra towels, pillows, linens and other essentials. Our only regret is that we didn’t book another week!

Had a great experience. The house is set up perfectly for a family or group. Close to town, highway and restaurants. The host is very easy to work with and had great extra touches - coffee snacks soaps etc. 10/10 happy!

House was great. In a very quiet, private place. Lots of wildlife and beautiful scenery. Everything was labeled, easy to find and use, and comfortable. It had everything we needed for cooking, cleaning, etc. Host was very responsive, accommodating, and friendly.

We stayed at the home for a weekend with a large group of adults and children. Everybody had a lovely time. The kids played in the water and on the big lawn, as well as with the board games provided. We sat around the campfire, enjoyed the lake, and sat out on the large patio. The bedrooms were comfortable, too. The host reached out over text before we got there and provided quick answers to a question I had on the first day.

A great home with a beautiful backyard. I will definitely be checking this place out again when I come back to Ludington.

We were super impressed with the living space. We slept 6 people very comfortably. Lots of unexpected touches in the house that made us feel like home. We enjoyed it very much!

We had a great stay! Family live in the area, so it was nice to have them come over and visit. There was a lot of seating available with the living room arrangement and the dining table (seats 6). It wasn't much of an issue for us, but if you're staying with friends, you should be aware that the bedroom with the three beds is separated from one bathroom by a curtain. Great location with short walk to House of Flavors, downtown, the beach, and the waterfront park area.

Patrick is a great host. Communication is top notch. Perfect place for families with a pet, the yard is completely fenced in. Short trip into downtown Ludington.

We really enjoyed staying at this campground and the rustic cabin was perfect for our family. The campground is tucked away in a wooded setting but everything is convenient and the amenities were great. My son loved the swimming pool and playground area. Our cabin was a close walk to the bathrooms/showers and those were very clean and sanitary. The campground has fun activities each day for the family/kids. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely camp here again!

Very rustic and quiet! Loved the little convenient store, had everything you could need if you forget anything!! Grill and fire place right outside of our door. Plenty of space outside to walk around and hangout. Dim lighting inside cabin but we were outside so much it didn’t matter! Bathroom/shower was a very close walking distance and could see from our cabin which was great! Definitely would book again!

I forgot bedding and didn’t read the listing close enough but staff provided it for me and it was awesome! Cute cabin close to bathrooms/showers and facilities were really clean.

I loved the location of this place. So many restaurants in the area and Walmart directly across the street for those quick store runs or forgotten items, and 5 minutes from downtown. The beaches were close too and a cute fishing pond right behind our cabin where we caught a TON of fish; big and small. Also, the bathrooms and showers were super clean which is always nice!

Like every review, very very clean! Was close to downtown, and everything we needed. Perfect weekend getaway little cabin. Also loved the pool late night swim, adults only from 10-11 ! ❤️ Quiet and serene

We just returned from our second stay at Ludington Hideaway, and booked our 3rd before returning home. Marta is the best and having stayed at multiple rental homes in other cities , no one can touch her level of cleanliness, hospitality, and professionalism. We have fallen in love with Ludington and plan to keep returning as long as Marta allows!

Wonderful apartment. Had everything we needed. The shower temperature wasn’t working correctly but the host quickly responded. Pullout couch was quite comfortable. There was fast EV charging across the street which was super convenient . Would gladly stay here again!

Gabriel and his rental exceeded our expectations and provided for a wonderful, peaceful, and relaxing getaway. Gabriel accommodated us on extremely short notice after we had an issue with another rental. Even on short notice, the rental was spotless and had everything we needed for a great trip. We so appreciated his welcoming hospitality! Both the humans and dogs loved swimming in the river on the property, having bonfires outside, and both the front and back porches were great for lounging. We loved having nearby access to so many adventures (kayaking, Manistee, beaches, etc), while also appreciating the privacy, nature, and space at the Airbnb itself. During our stay the days were sunny in the low 80s, and without air conditioning, we found it to be extremely comfortable sleeping with all the air flow from all the windows. We were able to keep the house cool and comfortable. I would love to stay here again! We wish we had more time there and hope to be back! Great rental & host!

Absolutely stunning place to stay! All amenities listed were included. Easy to access. Short drives to Ludington, Mears and Manistee! It was peaceful and quiet. Can’t say enough positive things about this location! The house was spotless. Beautifully kept, beautiful porches, fire pit, everything was perfect!

We have stayed at this house the last 3 years on our yearly trip to Ludington. It has exactly what we need and it is in a great location. The host is always very responsive and helpful. The house is clean and we really enjoy staying there. I still wish there were window AC units in the bedrooms. Sometimes the house takes awhile to cool down at night. The ceiling fan in the queen bedroom makes a clicking noise which makes it hard to fall asleep at times. Other than that no issues. We look forward to staying there again next year!

The Emily Filer House is a wonderful & charming place to stay! Linda was a wonderful host & quick to respond when we had any questions, and she was very accommodating as we had to extend our stay. The location is fabulous & very close to town, so all that Ludington has to offer is just a short walk away! The house was very clean, well equipped, and the kitchen is amazing. Definitely would stay here again!
