Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Mata de Plátano

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. The area was spacious, clean, few minutes walk to the beach, close to the main highway, close to many stores and over all lovely. The outdoor space was nice to have for lounging, grilling and hanging out! The hosts were very responsive and helpful…and we’d definitely stay again! This is a minor complaint but not really a complaint…but the top bunk it VERY close to the AC and made it a little uncomfortable for sleeping because of the temperature. But just a little thing. Everything else was PERFECT, and we’d definitely stay again!

My family had a great time here (2 adults and 2 kids ages 13 and 7). The place is very clean! It's a gated community and the 24/7 security guard made us feel very safe here. Marylin was very responsive and gave us some recommendations on places to eat. The beach supplies were very useful (beach towels, beach toys, chairs and wagon). Washer/dryer was nice to have and laundry detergent was provided. We only cooked breakfast, but the kitchen is fully stocked with lots of dishes, cups, utensils, cooking pots, cooking utensils and coffee! The only thing we didn't have was salt/pepper but I used the ones I got from takeout food. Would definately stay here again if we come back to Puerto Rico!

The home is in a great location with stores close by and a few minutes away from the Luquillo Kiosks.

Our stay was lovely. The house was perfect for our family of 5, and it was full of amenities. It had all the extras to make a very comfortable stay and was stocked with coffee and kitchen items which was appreciated! The beach access gate is right there, a few houses away. The pool is a couple streets over, but just a few minute walk. We really enjoyed both, as well as the area being quiet and not crowded. The host was super responsive for a few issues we came across. We rarely return to the same place twice, but would stay here again in an instant!

Tamara was an amazing host. She was super communicative and so helpful. She made herself available to me and my group. There was a power outage and she was so mindful about letting us know and showing up and starting up the generator which was so kind of her. The place was so clean and just like the photos and suited my group well. We enjoyed our stay there because of her hospitality as well as how close we were to everything we wanted to do. I would highly recommend staying here and would stay here again ☺️

What can I say! Everything about this house was amazing!!! We had a bad experience with another house and decided to cancel and relocate houses. Alex responded quickly to the request and even allowed an early check-in!! The house is beautiful and has a great set up!! When vacationing with small kids clothes accumulates fast and thankfully there was a washer and dryer! Location to the beach and kioskos was super close, as well as to El Yunque!! Great house, great host!! 10 out of 10 for sure

Alina’s place was such a great find! Had everything needed — cooler, beach chairs, towels, and even a beach bag. It was about a 5-10 min drive to the beach. And nearby were grocery stores for last minute items. The neighborhood was very quiet. The backyard was huge and a hammock in the front. I would definitely stay here again for longer!

Cydmary is the best host I’ve ever experienced in my entire life. She went above and beyond to make my experience for myself and my fiancée who’s first time here in Puerto Rico memorable. The ambience of the air b&b is everything plus more the place was private super clean and it felt like home. Cydmary answered Everytime I called and she went above and beyond to accommodate us in every aspect. I wish I could give this place 10 stars. Staying here as me considering even moving out here to Puerto Rico. We will sure to let all our friends and family know when they visit to stay here. My fiancée and I will definitely come to visit again and stay here this place is truly amazing. Thank you Cydmary for such a wonderful experience God bless you always !!!!

Sonia’s place was a perfect home away from home. Safe, peaceful, Near the beach, el Yunque and lots of delicious food. Enclosed backyard which was a delight for the kids, we will definitely stay at Ms.Sonia’s home again. Thank you for being flexible with time during our check in.

Excellent location and place! Great amenities, pool, basketball, racket ball court. 2 min walk to the beach. Lots of restaurants nearby. Clean and safe neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely place, had a great time. well located close to beach and close to town. The swimming pool and playground were great for the kids.

Our stay in Torres’ AirBnb exceeded our expectations. Our experience was great from beginning to end. Torres was a responsive host, the location was excellent and the house was exceptional providing all the necessary amenities, additional game room, pool view was fantastic and it felt peaceful and safe. This is a place I can see coming again and again. I have already recommended it to my family and friends.

This place was perfect! The home was very clean, spacious, and had gorgeous views. Omar was very responsive and helpful whenever I reached out. Each bedroom was clean and the AC felt great after hot days in the sun. The pool was nice and the neighbors were friendly. The location on the beach was unbeatable! I would highly recommend staying here if visiting Luquillo.

What a wonderful week here! We had everything we needed. Place had a great set up and was very comfortable. We loved the huge balcony and view of ocean and also had view of rainforest from front door! Also, loved how all the sliders completely opened up so we could have an open air feel in the evenings! Had plenty of towels, beach chairs , cooler , beach cart etc. Couldn't have been any better! They were very responsive with any questions I had. Luquilla was the perfect area to stay. Close to all the attractions we wanted! Will definitely go back !

My wife and I stayed here for our 6 year anniversary and it was so beautiful. I was super surprised how quickly the condo got cooled in such a short period of time. The view was beyond words and the condo was amazing. The balcony has everything you need for the beach! That was a plus to have the condo equipped with all the beach supplies you need and thank you so much for the extra towels, both for a bath and the beach. And you can walk to anything you need and the drive is super short as well. Love the location! Thank you so very much Pablo! You have been absolutely incredible. We will definitely be booking again 💜

Fernando’s place is just as pictured! Updated and extremely clean. Appreciated the fact the host provides a cooler, beach towels,chairs, umbrella, toys and speaker to enjoy the beach. We truly enjoyed the listening to the waves. Close to the kiosks which offer tons of food variety. Host was very responsive and extremely accommodating. It is an older and a bit run down looking. Not the host fault. While we were there they did have maintenance crew patching and painting which I’m sure will liven the building and add to the hosts home value. Would definitely book again.

Staying at Sylvia’s place with family was definitely worthwhile! I highly recommend it for anyone traveling with children, as there's a room filled with toys and games and a yard to hangout as well.

This place was very clean and every room was very spacious, We really enjoyed that. Near the beach, great for walks. Plenty of restaurants with great food. Recommend Simple Food and Coffee Therapy for breakfast and great food at La Fonda Gourmet. 30 minutes to airport. Location was great. Very easy to communicate with Francisco and answered within a few minutes. The place was so accommodating that we are going to book again in a few months. Thank you for everything. Gracias.

Absolutely Beautiful 2 Floor studio with access to the rooftop where you can relax on a hammock and watch the waves crash in or grill and enjoy the Mountain View’s. Both view are stunning. My only recommendation is finding the apartments. I google search Apartamentos Bello Mar which is the most correct.
