Holiday rentals with a patio in Matala beach

Attentive and very responsive host. Excellent location for visiting Heraklion.

Our stay at Nikos' place was just amazing. The apartment was not only easy to find, but also extremely spacious and comfortable for two people. We liked the decor very much. The location is great, whether on foot or by car, you are quickly close to restaurants, cafes and a small supermarket that offers everything you need. We especially appreciated the garden, but it was temporarily affected by a construction site, which will be over soon. We will be happy to come back!

We had a great stay at the apartment :) Iwona was very nice and helpful. The village is also very sweet with good taverns to eat!

We can find the apartment easily. Parking is just right in front, maybe I didn’t read properly so I didn’t know that there are 2 flights down. We received the information, pictures before the checkin date, they are very precise so we were able to locate the property with no problem. The host helped us take our suitcases down, We really appreciated her help and she also gave us some lemon and veg from her garden. We enjoyed staying at her apartment. Everything we need is there. If you need help the host was just upstairs.

Had a fantastic stay. Quiet area. 8 minutes walk from the boulevard. Supermarket is 5 minutes away. Car is handy to have to have to explore the rest of the island. Friendly people and apartment was modern and cleanly furnished. Would definitely come back jog sometime

Stayed at Despoina’s Place for five sunny days. The apartment is not overlooked so you can open the door and lie in bed looking at the sea. Matala’s sandy beach and aquamarine water is just a few steps down. There’s a little cafe/bar next door and the lovely staff will bring your morning coffee or your beers to the terrace. We did nothing really, except sit on the beach and enjoy the sun. A couple of days were windy so the sand got blown about - if we’d have stayed longer we might have invested in a wind break. Highly recommended.

Feels like coming home. Beautiful garden, the premises are maintained with love. The owners clearly put a lot of effort into it, ont just a business. Everything provided that you might need plus a few nice extras like a ping-pong table. Ideal for (small) families and couples.

This was probably the nicest AirBnB we have stayed at . Everything was well put together and the amenities were incredible. Directions were very clear with links to Google maps on how to find the place. The kitchen was supplied with every utensil one could ever need. Hosts left welcome food and snacks. The house was clean, modern, and felt like home. We had one small issue when we were there, and the host team replied within 45 minutes, making it one of the most responsive hosts we’ve worked with. I would hands down stay here again.

A little piace of heaven! This is not just an incredibly beautiful villa with a gorgeous garden and pool. There comes so much more with this stunning location, from the peaceful surroundings to Irina's attention to detail and kindness. If you are looking for a place to relax, recharge and enjoy Crete far from tourist spots in complete privacy this is your place.

This was one of the best houses I stayed in - really modern and great internal design. The two bathrooms are a rarity in Greece and we were really happy that we had them. We enjoyed the very comfortable beds and the pillows. A fully equipped kitchen was also a nice element to the perfect stay. Need to know that the village is on a hill and there is a narrow cobbled street (no direct access by car), but there is a small parking about 150m away from the house.

Well-renovated apartment, very spacious and with every comfort available to guests. A beautiful terrace overlooking the sea where you can admire the sunset and a well-kept garden make it truly special. Vaia, Nikolas and the whole family immediately proved to be helpful and hospitable, we remember them with affection and sympathy.

We had a wonderful stay at the earthouse! The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a relaxing stay. The location was great, and we truly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. Our host was incredibly kind, responsive, and always available to answer any questions, which made our experience even better. The house is in a secluded place away from mass tourism, in a small mountain village. From the terrace you can see the sea and the mountains. Quite a sight! The house is very well equipped with everything you need. The beds are very comfortable and spacious. There was plenty of food in case you needed it. In the village tavern you can eat well, whatever they have prepared. If you are interested in archaeology, you can visit an archaeological site and a Mycenaean tomb. We can go to Maria's place with confidence. We are welcomed as friends with treats, raki, fresh fruit and even eggs. Maria is always ready to answer any questions we may have.

Kostas was a fantastic host and we had a great time in the apartment. He was incredibly responsive, getting in touch shortly after booking to offer tips and support. It had everything we needed for our 6 night stay, and Kostas provided a range of lovely things. Everything was clean and tidy, with really comfortable beds, including the sofa bed for my 9 year old. The private courtyard was a lovely space to unwind after a busy day. The location was great, and easily walkable to everything we needed to do.
