Apartment holiday rentals in Matara

We stayed at Sanjayas place for four nights. The family was super kind and helped us with local advice such as restaurants and must-sees close by. They arranged transport to the house and again when we left. Their hospitality was warm and made us feel welcome. We would definitly recommend this place to others.

Don is an exceptional host, responsive and available at any time, the house is a jewel, large, clean and equipped, private patio with a very pleasant mini pool in the hottest hours, very quiet location out of the chaos but a 5 10-minute walk from the two nearby beaches (the least crowded in the area, including jungle beach surf spots). With a scooter (which I highly recommend) you can reach all the midigama and ahanghama spots in a few minutes and in 10 minutes you can reach weligama. The other pool is shared with other BnBs and you have to go through the private garden of the house next door, but it is a great place to relax and the few times we used it there was no one. Absolutely recommended

Our stay couldn’t have been more amazing. The apartment is so beautiful and comfortable. It’s spotless clean, great kitchen facilities and ice cold AC. It’s located right in front of a little local beach where there is a lot of boats docked which is stunning for sunset. The locals around are all so friendly as well. Such quick and helpful communication from the host. Couldn’t recommend enough it’s an absolute steal for the price.

Gayashan and Roshani made this stay unforgettable and the best one during our time in Sri Lanka! They were always available to answer any questions, organized the best Safari into Udawalawe through a friend, did a cooking lesson with us, helped with getting taxis and so much more. Both were so welcoming and it happened often that we talked for half an hour during breakfast about Sri Lanka, nature, politics and food with them. The place is lovely and exactly like the photos! It is in a quiet area with no cars (only peacocks and monkeys haha) and it takes 10 minutes by foot to Hiriketiya beach. The breakfast they serve is authentic Sri Lankan, changes a bit from day to day to keep it exciting and most importantly is DAMN DELICIOUS! And, this shouldn’t be forgotten, both Gayashan and Roshani are absolutely kind and great people and we felt like guests in their home and not just people sleeping next door. Will come again!

Very nice stay with this lovely family! They are very loving and truely cared about me. They made some food and shared it. Everything what I needed was there. Would highly recommend as a homestay.

An incredibly aesthetic apartment where you feel like photographing almost every corner. These are spacious two-bedroom apartments with a kitchen, located in a quiet area away from the city noise. There is no air conditioning, but it's not an issue as all the rooms have ceiling fans. Everything is very clean and in good condition. Check-in was very convenient and contactless. Natalie was always in touch and gave great recommendations for things to do in Mirissa and Weligama.

I had an amazing stay at Crystal Villa Weligama, a perfect retreat for relaxation and productivity. The villa features 3 beautifully designed bedrooms, making it ideal for families or groups. The cozy living room and dining area are perfect for unwinding and enjoying meals together. The fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need, and with fiber optic internet, it’s great for digital nomads. Located in a calm and quiet area, the villa offers a large garden for relaxation. Just 800 meters from the beach and town, it’s a short 5-10 minute walk to enjoy the sun and surf. The neighborhood is safe and secure, ideal for families. The host, Ruwan, is incredibly helpful, ensuring a comfortable stay. Crystal Villa Weligama is one of the best places to stay in the area, offering comfort, convenience, and tranquility. I highly recommend it for both work and leisure.
