Mayo Glamping - Fia na Foraoise

ChristinaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a lovely spot!! We stayed one night to be closer to our hike at Croagh Patrick in the morning! We had such a relaxing evening and Stephen is so welcoming! You can really see he has put his whole heart into making his site unique and an experience for guests that is not just your typical campsite. Just like the pictures and was even better! We loved the hot tub and pizza in the wood fire stove. We will definitely be staying again!!

68 Clifden Glen

CianRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We spent 2 weeks in Connemara with our 2 kids and this was a perfect place to base ourselves from. The house was clean and homely and had everything we needed (including a high chair which was great). The playground just around the corner was a great bonus. Would highly recommend for anyone planning a holiday around Clifden / Connemara.

Luī na Sunset luxury glamping Pod

OrlaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This is by far the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. Laurence is an outstanding host- incredibly friendly, welcoming, accommodating and gave us loads of recommendations for things to see and do around the area. The accommodation and amenities were spotless and immaculately maintained as well as being cosy and comfortable. The location is beautiful, incredibly peaceful and the views are stunning, a real hidden gem of a location. Thank you so much Laurence, we can’t wait to come back!

WesternWay Cabin : Sheefry Hills : Croagh Patrick

JessicaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A delightful place to spend time and well located for exploring Co Mayo. Great hiking and cycling on the doorstep. Dara was helpful throughout our stay. Read the description carefully - a cabin in the woods with a compost toilet might not appeal to everyone! And, check out the sauna on Old Head beach. We'll be back - particularly as our dog had a great time!

Connemara/Westport Eco glamping pod No. 2

DonalRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely little pod with toilet and a great shower with hot water in a separate pid nearby. Heater and kettle available in the pod. Just a short drive to westport and very quiet at night. We cooked outside and there is room for a bbq but michael had also offered use of the kitchen in the main house. Dont miss the beautiful drive (or cycle!) To doo lough nearby which loops back to westport by croagh patrick.

Connemara /Westport glamping. pod No. 3.

AnnieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We thoroughly enjoyed the stay in Michael’s place! Very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Perfect weekend break to recharge and spend time in nature. Only 20 minute drive to Croagh Patrick and Westport for shops/restaurants. Clean bathroom for each individual pod right beside the cabin as well. Lovely picnic table with grills available, which we unfortunately didn’t get to enjoy due to the weather but would be lovely in better weather! We did enjoy sitting out on the porch in the evenings and admiring the beautiful surroundings. Only minor comment to make is that the door to the cabin would not lock, or maybe there’s a knack to it we couldn’t figure out, but it is a very safe location so we weren’t too worried about leaving our belongings here. Thanks Michael for hosting us!

The Lodge. One bedroom self catering in Westport

SineadRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Natalia and her partner were extremely welcoming and friendly. Our visit was a bit of a flying one, but they made it their business to introduce themselves and see if we needed any help. The loft itself was perfect for what we needed. Bed was very comfy & there was a nice outdoor space with a BBQ and self made bar too. Location is very good too only 4 min drive to Westport. Plenty of space to park.

The Golden Egg

PhillipRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Absolutely perfect place for our short stay away. Jennifer was amazing with communication and all instructions were very clear how to find the place and to self check-in. Very refreshing inside with plenty of natural light from the front window area. Kitchen had all we needed, maybe a pair of scissors is all we could think of, otherwise for a compact kitchen it was perfect. Bathroom was bigger than expected with a good size shower. Bed was so comfortable, big with lovely plush pillows and duvet. We felt very comfortable even on those windy wet nights thanks to the radiator. Lovely fresh eggs from the chickens which we helped ourselves, so be prepared they're fresh complete with straw attached to them 😉 Location was exactly what we wanted, private with plenty of parking right next to where we stayed, and at night it is lit up so you can find your way easily. Very peaceful too with beautiful views. We would certainly stay again that's for sure. Thank you Jennifer

Tiny Irish Cottage under a Big Mayo Sky

ValerijaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
If you like nature and peace this is good place to stay. House is tiny and good for max two people but has all necessary (fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, bedroom). Stove with lots of wood provided and rolling chair (my favorite place in the house). We were traveling with two small dogs and it’s plenty of space to run outside. You can lock the gate and it’s safe not to watch them (dogs really love the area). Also there is BBQ area and fire place outside (lights too). Great for making BBQ. Tina is welcome us with homemade scones, jam and butter and fresh eggs. Absolutely delicious. Note there is no TV and internet coverage pretty bad in rainy days but honestly you doesn’t need it in this beautiful place ☺️ Highly recommended to visit

Lavender Mews is brand new

RachelRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had a great stay at Dave’s place. Very friendly hosting by Dave, great recommendations for places to visit and pubs to use, perfect location both for walking into Tuam (5 minutes at most) and for getting out into Galway and Mayo. Dave has put a lot of thought into his apartment with lovely touches such as a coffee maker, clothes airer in the garden, a hairdryer and even a hot water bottle. Hopefully will be back soon!

Traditional cottage in idyllic mountain setting

KatherineRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Wonderfully peaceful spot in a delightfully traditional yet modernised cottage. It felt like such a retreat from the world for a few days - we were lucky enough for lovely weather but it would also be cosy when rainy. Great location just out of Clifden town and accessible to all the main spots around Connemara. We'll definitely be back!

glamping-THE NOOK - holidayintinyhouse

DanielRating, 5 stars45 months ago
Pat and Caroline are the most lovely welcoming hosts one could wish for. I only stayed one night in the cabin but got that reconnection with nature I was hoping for. The cabin itself is basic of course but I was spoiled with a glass of wine and the use of the bath in the main house which were greatly appreciated injections of luxury and relaxation. Thanks Pat and Caroline for the warm welcome!

Glamping and Alpaca Farm: Connemara Hut

MarthaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We stayed here for one night and would highly recommend. Ruth and Stuart are so friendly, helpful and funny….a great couple who have created a well thought out and tranquil place to stay. The pods are immaculate and emulate their love of nature and animals. It was also so lovely to meet the goats and Alpacas 🫶

Ox Mountain HIDEAWAY

CaitrionaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful time at Dermot and Monica's place in the Ox mountains. The location is just beautiful. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The cabin was cosy, comfortable and well equipped. The kids loved the freedom and atmosphere of the place and they had great fun getting to know the animals especially the little goats and Hunter, the dog. We would highly recommend and would love to return again in the future.

The Fairytale Cottage

RaphaelRating, 5 stars1 day ago
I spend two nights at the Fairytale Cottage. The landscapes around were beautiful, and Steve was very welcoming. The cottage was really charming, you enter in a real traditional cottage that may exist since centuries, it's a very special place. I had a wonderful time visiting Connemarra and had great conversations with Steve. Hope to come again someday, it was really worth it !
