Mateo’s place is incredible. It’s just a short ride from the city but a completely different world opens up. Peaceful, quiet and amazing views. I will definitely come back soon. Very well centered, the only thing is the amount of noise you hear inside of the house and the rooms from the street is insane. They give you earbuds so you can sleep and I know that’s out of their control but for future guests I suggest taking personal ear buds. Also since some windows remain open a hand ful of mosquitos come in on a daily so also prepare for that. Aside from that the place has everything we needed plus the location is PERFECT

Wow! We just landed back in Miami and couldn’t wait to leave a review. This house is an absolute dream. From the second that we stepped into this place, we were left speechless. The views are just wow. Angel, who lives on the premise and is the host for anything you might need is just wonderful. A great person all around and there for whatever you need. He helped me stock the house prior to arrival, helped set up for a birthday party with his wife, and so much more. The house is stunning. You are in the middle of the mountains in absolute peace, however, you’re also just 20 mins from el poblado. We will DEFINITELY be back! Thank you Pauline, Nicolas and Angel!

I spent 7 weeks at Finca Maria Tutu and it was truly an exceptional experience. The location is easy to access yet feels peaceful and tucked away from anything touristy. The space is comfortable, spacious, and well cared for — ideal for a longer stay. Each day brought stunning mountain views and the sound of birds all around. As a cyclist, it was the perfect home base to explore the region’s incredible routes while having a serene place to return to and recharge. I highly recommend Finca Maria Tutu to travelers looking for a balance of comfort, nature, and authenticity — a place to slow down, stay a while, and enjoy a different rhythm.

Absolutely amazing experience! Sandra and Sara went above and beyond—super responsive, incredibly helpful, and so accommodating. They even helped me book at another location and seamlessly moved everything over. The spot itself is perfect, and the level of service I received was truly the best. Highly recommend!
