Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Built in 1888, this is one of the oldest boats in Amsterdam and is located in the Jordaan near the Anne Frank house and the Central Station. Our B&B is equipped with all modern facilities such as a modern kitchen, Philips Hue lighting, smart TV and Quooker. The cozy veranda is complete with a luxury Jacuzzi and wood stove. The B&B with large private garden and unobstructed view is completely shielded from the farmhouse by a fence and is only accessible to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you can look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast of your choice is optional.

The cottage is within walking distance of the historic city of Medemblik and close to Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Amsterdam is 45 minutes away. Various possibilities for water sports. Beach, ports, shops etc. reachable within 5 minutes by car and 25 minutes on foot.

From the love-seat you can watch TV or the fireplace (heating) and you have it cozy in the winter or you can sit outside on the terrace by the water in the summer to daydream, read or play games. Hot tub, kayak or 2 SUP boards can be booked. There are also bicycles, which you can borrow for free. The bathroom is 1 step outside the pipo and all for you.

Vanaf het voorjaar kun je met de boot of op een SUP-board de schilderachtige waterwegen verkennen.* Het huis staat in verbinding met de Grote Vliet, een populaire watersport- en vislocatie. Op fietsafstand van het IJsselmeer(strand). *Sloep te huur voor 75,- per dag (vraag naar de mogelijkheden i.v.m winterstalling)

This modern furnished holiday home is located in Opperdoes near the IJsselmeer lake. There is free Wi-Fi and parking at the house. Sheets and towels are included. The centre of Medemblik is only 2 kilometers away. Amsterdam and Callantsoog (North Sea beach) are a 40 minutes drive. Also Texel is nice to visit. This property is located on a site that is partly privately rented (and partly offered through Dormio Resort).
