If you’re not Moroccan, or have not spent much time in the country, be ready for a unique experience. It’s as riad as it gets with all its quirkiness - but all to yourself. It was an authentic experience for the two of us in our party. If getting lost in the alleys of fez intimidates you, this may not be the place for you. Jawad, the caretaker, is exceptionally attentive and helpful. Always ready not just with recommendations but also to walk you out if you need directions. Kitchen has all the appliances, wifi is surprisingly strong, hot water is aplenty. Bathroom situation is unique. The one full western-style bathroom is four flights up so beware of that. (There is a squatty potty on the ground level.) The rooftop terrace has nice open views.

i had a pleasant time with Youssef and his little family. This traditional home has so much character. The welcome, dinner and breakfast, all of them quality. Feel free to visit this family from El Khank village if you pass by.

A wonderful stay in Fez! The accommodation is clean and very pleasant. It takes about ten minutes to walk to Bab Boujloud. Accommodation close to the center of the medina but without the hustle and bustle of the souks which is very nice for drinking tea, in the evening, on the rooftop terrace! Nisrine was very responsive and concerned about our well-being in Fez. She even booked airport transfers by taxi for us! Flexible on schedules (late check-in and checkout at the end of the day... we were able to leave our luggage to enjoy the last hours) I highly recommend Nisrine and her place...

We very much enjoyed our time in Fez and at Mohammed`s place. It is a beautiful traditional old house, with well preserved interior. Right in the middle of the old city. Ideal for our group of 6 visiting the city for several days. It is quite a challenge to find your way through narrow streets, but Mohammed was kind enough and arranged the transport from the train station and a guide for last 10 minutes of the journey, through the maze of the small streets. Mohammed and his sister were very helpful. Greeted us on our arrival and helped to make our time in Fez enjoyable - helping with tips for the places to see, arranging a certified (and knowledgable) guide, sharing the history of the city ... .

Great host! He responded immediately and even gave some recommendations for restaurants and helped us with the rideshare. It’s also in a great location under ten minutes to the market where all the main restaurants and shops are.

We really enjoyed our time at Simo’s place. The home is very comfortable. We were greeted like friends and felt right at home. He was happy to assist with laundry and local recommendations. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and creative design. Simo has fully decorated the home with pride and craftsmanship - local fossils and stones integrated into the home, collector items, antiques, crate furniture and shelves, unique light fixtures. Truly inspiring. So glad we stopped in Midelt during the long journey from the Sahara to Fes.

Me and my 3 sisters had a wonderful 4 night stay at the Riad. Clare sent us all the information we needed prior to arrival which was very helpful. When we checked in, we were wowed. The property was so much nicer than the photos! The rooms were beautiful and clean, and the rooftop was a lovely place for breakfast and reading. But the true highlight was the house manager Zahrae whose kindness, generosity and help made our stay so special. Selma and Hasna's cooking was also incredible. The two dinners we had at the Riad were our favourite meals in Fes. Overall we had such a wonderful stay. The Riad is very well located, safe, cosy, clean and is managed by wonderful women. I hope to stay again one day.

very calm and peaceful stay with family in the middle of the countryside. house is spacious with a big pool and a beautiful view of surrounding hills. nearest town (sidi allal elbahraoui) is 20 min away and has all what you need for your stay. No Wifi. Phone (4G/5G) coverage is intermittent.

We felt at home, the accommodation is perfect, there is everything you need for an excellent stay, the perfect pool, really great relaxing area, we will come back insh'Allah. Thank you a lot for availability.

State of the art villa with amazing views and privacy. Need a car to access, about 20 mins to nearest supermarket. Ali was super helpful. Few issues with the facilities but did not harm our experience- would love to visit again. Thanks!

everything is good starting to check in until the last day we stay 5 people with a beautiful place but maybe for the directions to get to the house it's a little less accurate because the point makes us confused

Driss is a wonderful host, the house is clean and the weather is excellent, the house is much more beautiful than on pictures, i highly recommend

What a great and luxurious apartment! It is exactly as shown in the pictures with a nice large balcony with a lounge set. Two large bedrooms with large beds in it and a TV, air conditioning, plenty of closet space. A kitchen with really everything you need: large oven, large fridge/freezer and even a washing machine. Pool view. All of this was kept tidy. There were five of us (3 adult children). One of the kids slept on the couch, but that was fine and there was a duvet in the closet. In the bathroom and toilet also toilet paper and hand soap. The arrival was also very easy, we immediately got clear directions to the correct cottage and the access code. We enjoyed the holiday and can certainly recommend this apartment.

The listing fits perfectly with the description. It is quietly located, close to a possible access for taxis while already being in the pedestrian zone of the old medina. It is decorated in a typical style of the place. It is very well located for sightseeing . Mohammed was very welcoming, then good advice for visits. I recommend it unreservedly

Super nice pace and surprisingly calm ! Loves the rooftop terrace and the unique appartment. Lots do to and see around, we liked Fes a lot :)

Very pleasant stay at Katrien's in the heart of the Fes medina. The accommodation is very clean and very comfortable. A haven of peace between 2 visits, especially on the different pleasant terraces at any time of day. Kateien was very welcoming, like the people of this country.... she organized at our request our transport from the airport and our arrival at the accommodation with the help of a carrier. I highly recommend it!

Siham was very clear and helpful throughout the whole process. Me and my friends caught a cold while we were traveling and they were accommodating to the checkout letting us leave a little later without issue. The location was lovely for a nights rest before continuing on our trip! Their instructions were clear for the check in and the place was as described in the listing. You can’t get much better than that!

Esmail is an incredible guy, made us feel at home, showed us his culture since we arrived, he looked for us in the village in his 4x4 and we took a night walk that we will not forget… good food, good rolo, all his team very friendly and helpful

The space is cool Location is secure The furniture is clean and tidy Access is easy and clear The site is flawed that there is no elevator because the apartment is on the third floor
