A newly-built house in the countryside, large apartment on the upper floor of 140 sqm with an open floor plan. The house is located on a farm with the forest behind the farm and a large garden with lawn. The apartment has all the amenities such as a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom with toilet/shower and washing machine. 4 beds (double bed + sofa bed) If there are more of you in the group, there is room for your own mattress or crib. A few hundred meters away there is a wind shelter with a barbecue area by a pond. Wood-fired sauna next to barbecue area can be rented for an additional fee.

House of 44 sqm with the possibility of accommodating five people. The house is beautifully located overlooking meadows and mountains. In front of the house there is a large lawn that can be used for games and other activities. It is five minutes walk to the sea and in the bay there is a rowboat that you can borrow. On the island there is a fish shop and restaurant, also a five-minute walk from the house. The island's landscape is diverse, with open sea and cliffs to the west, and small farms and forests in the centre.

Villa Holmen offers quiet accommodation close to nature, ideal for families and for those seeking relaxation and outdoor activities. The house is child-friendly and situated in a secluded location close to a lake and natural surroundings. A boat is available to borrow at no extra cost during your stay (please let us know in advance). For fishing throughout the entire lake, we offer fishing permits for €50. You can´t come closer to lake Vänern. Wake up to the sunset and enjoy the the morning from the big terrace. During 2020, the house underwent a major modernization. The ground is like a park and you have only the forest as nabour. The guesthouse is located on the pier where you have your own bay. There are nice areas for walking and cykling. You can take the boat and go fishing in lake Vänern. It is just 15 minutes by car to Vänersborg where do your shopping.

The house was renovated in 2017 and impresses our guests with its interior design. Here, solo travelers, couples and families alike feel comfortable. There is also the possibility for befriended travelers to rent the neighboring beach cabin and Kilstrand house at the same time and thus be on the go with friends and still maintain their retreat option.
