Cozy sauna cottage in Lapland

Atmospheric sauna cottage (22m²) in the countryside. Get away from everyday life, enjoy the peace and quiet of the cottage, which is located in the courtyard of our house, yet completely in its own peace. A comfortable 160 cm wide bed offers space for two adults. Heat your own wood-fired sauna, relax on the terrace or by the campfire in the lean-to. Admire the starry sky or the northern lights far from the city lights. On a winter morning, you can walk on beautiful snowy forest trails, listen to the silence of nature, and breathe in the fresh air.

Atmospheric cottage with partial glass roof

A unique cottage with a partial glass roof, built in 2019, in a naturally beautiful environment by the lake. The cottage has a microwave, kettle, coffee maker, refrigerator and toaster. You can only enjoy ready meals. Fireplace/shelter on the beach. Parking space in the yard. In winter, you can walk on the ice. 17 km to the airport, 13 km to the nearest City market and 17 km to the city center. The host lives in the same yard. Guests are allowed to move freely in the yard. The neighbors' yards are private.

Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi , only some steps to the water (or ice in winter). Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells, marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive -with no street lights.

Upstairs bedroom Very nice view to river Ounas. Parking your car near cottage is possible. There are kitchen, living room, alcove, bathroom and sauna in downstairs of the cabin. Upstairs there is bedroom. Distance to Rovaniemi and Santa's village is about 50 kilometers so I recommend to rent a car. there is no public transportation

You can get there by car, but you don't have to see anyone during your entire stay if you don't want to, but you're still only about 45 minutes from the city center. We are sure that you will fall in love with our peaceful cabin in the middle of snow and northern lights. The cottage is always warm when you arrive, and we will take care of you throughout your stay as if you were our friends.
