Chalet holiday rentals in Menai Strait

We had an amazing few days staying in the caravan. It was spotlessly clean and we really appreciated the Welsh cakes and fresh milk that Jenny had left out for us. The caravan is situated in probably one of the most picturesque places I’ve ever stayed and was a fantastic base for exploring the wider areas. We would recommend it to anyone and would definitely like to come back one day.

Had a wonderful stay at Rosie’s place. She was very responsive and proactive in order to avoid any issues during our stay. Do not hesitate, you won’t regret it! Thanks again for having us!

We spent 6 days and absolutely loved the place. To start with, the hostess was really friendly and responsive. We received clear directions to get there and check in was smooth. We also got a welcome pack. The location is perfect, there are really nice beaches nearby and a really good pizza takeaway. At the same time, it’s also very peaceful and secluded, a great spot to watch the stars at night, we got luck and got to see a meteor shower as well as northern lights. We had two feline visitors who became part of our routine and we loved having them nearby. This is a perfect location for a family holiday and we are already planning to return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Joanne's Lodge. We have stayed at a few places in Pwllheli over the past few years and Joanne's is by far the best we have been to. The lodge itself is beautifully presented, and well equipped with all the basics aswell as a few added extras. The bottle of prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch too, as were the luxury toiletries in the bathrooms. The location is fantastic and the views are amazing, especially from the hot tub! As a party of 4 adults, 2 children and 2 small dogs, we found there was plenty of space and we didn't feel as though we were on top of each other. We are looking forward to booking again.

We had the most wonderful stay here. When we arrived the hosts were so welcoming, offering their wealth of local knowledge and showing us around. They always ensured the hot tub was warm and ready for us when we wanted it and an extra bonus was the complimentary wine, home sourced eggs and milk as well on arrival :)

We had such a great bank Holliday weekend. Elise was quick to respond to all of our messages and very helpful prior. The cabin was far bigger than it looked in photos so we were pleasantly surprised. There was so much to do in the areas around we only really slept at the cabin, the fire place on the last night was lovely even with the wind as we found we were sheltered in the garden. Had a fabulous time, despite mixed weather. The accommodation was warm and cosy and plenty big enough for 2 adults plus 2 large kids (aged 19 and 17) and the dog. Sunset view brilliant and always ferries from Holyhead on the horizon. Enclosed garden for the dog and as great even though she barked at everyone walking past on the footpath (sorry). Next to campsite, but nobody was there when we were as too early in the season. Easy walk to the beach which was a brilliant spot as well as coastal path walks. Cafe in Church Bay just opened for the season where we had a cold beer after a day doing walks. One day out, we went in the direction of Caemas, another to Holy Island and Treaddur Bay and the sunniest day was a bit further away at Newborough. Been to Anglesey lots of times and it never disappoints.

We’re just back from our stay at Gwenllian’s lodge and we had a fantastic time. The lodge was homely, spacious, warm, clean and had everything we needed. The location was great for exploring the Llyn Peninsula and we would definitely come back! Thank you for a lovely stay and for being a great host :-)

fantastic spot for couples and family to chill out and enjoy the stunning north Wales coast . The apartment was perfect for what we need ! and was impressed with is Disable access!

We cannot fault this lodge. It was nice to return to such a peaceful location after climbing Snowdonia. The sound of the river right outside the accommodation was perfect. Facilities were excellent and everything you could possibly need was available.

We have had a wonderful stay here. The caravan was immaculate, the decking area is great , the view is stunning and so close to a beautiful beach. We would definitely recommend this place.

It was a perfect location. The weather was good. The caravan had central heating and the water was always hot, which was needed at night. There were new duvets and pillows which were very comfortable. The caravan does need a facelift, but the beautiful position cannot be beaten. There were some binoculars so you could watch the wildlife, watch the boats coming and going.

A wonderful stay in a stunning location. Hosts were very responsive and lodge was very well equipped. Would love to come again! Thank you / diolch yn fawr!

Perfect stay, we came for 5 days and the pictures honestly don’t do it justice, the view is just incredible, and no matter where you are in the decking you’ll have sunshine all day. The outdoor space is perfect, our dog had a ball sunbathing on the patio or the pebbled area. The inside of the caravan is lovely, beds are super comfy and the local beach is perfect for dog walks. We had an amazing stay thank you so much for the recommendations

We had a wonderful stay at the caravan with our toddler and baby. Wendy was extremely helpful and responsive throughout our visit. The caravan is in a lovely location, with great family-friendly amenities including a pool, and just a short drive to Barmouth beach. We really enjoyed our time and would happily stay again!

Cosy, comfortable and nostalgic. The loveliest caravan on a great site. A 2 minute walk to a beautiful beach, or a great club house and entertainment. A 5 minute drive to the harbour and Porthmadog. A perfect family holiday. Highly recommend. Shower is excellent too. You need to book swimming in advance on site just to make the most of your holiday.
