Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

This 19th century cottage sits on the side of a hill, with breathtaking views over the Menai Strait. The cottage itself was lovingly renovated five years ago. It’s multi-level garden is the perfect vantage point for looking out to sea, the top level decking makes a great place for a glass of wine in the sunshine. Conveniently situated on the main road which leads to nearby Menai Bridge which is just five minutes by car along the coast. Beaumaris is the same in the opposite direction.

The cottage is a beautiful barn conversion set in 8 acres of hay fields, woods, streams and ponds and less than 10 minutes from the coast.Large, open plan living area with handmade, fully equipped kitchen area. 2 double bedrooms, both with en-suites.
