Nestled in the heart of the lush landscapes of Cantal, not far from the medieval town of Saint-Flour, this modern and unique little hideaway, which could very well be located in Middle-earth, will suit you for sure. Bag End welcomes you into its cocoon made of wood and stone. At an altitude over 1000 meters, it offers a comforting warmth in winter and a refreshing coolness during the hottest summers.

This old farmhouse from 1824, typically Auvergne with an area of 250 m 2 is located in the heart of the Margeride forest at an altitude of 928 m in a peaceful hamlet. 18 months of renovation allowed us to preserve the authenticity of this house, beams, wooden floors, cantou sink wall in Auvergne stone, traditional furniture, decorations of old objects that highlight our fauna, flora, our activities and our cultures, a simplicity and authenticity emerges from the places.

Keep it simple at this peaceful place The accommodation includes a separate entrance to a house that gives you access to a bedroom, bathroom and sports area. In the bedroom you have a dining area and the possibility to heat your dishes thanks to the microwave and cutlery. However, there is no equipped kitchen or water point apart from the bathroom. Saint-Flour is in the immediate vicinity of the A75 motorway, on the vacation route and on the passage of many hiking trails.

This house for 4 people and a baby is close to the motorway but quiet and close to nature. From the car park, you have direct access to the private terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue. The interior is very spacious, clean, comfortable and stylish. The beds are made on your arrival, and bath towels are provided. We recently added a misting fan to ensure you have a pleasant stay in the event of very hot weather!
