El Cense du Bergie

Welcome to our gîte in El Cense du Bergie. You will stay in a rural gîte, completely renovated and located in the heart of the countryside, on the corner of a 400 ha wood, in a working farm. This gîte for 4 people, with 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed; gîte decorated with 60 m2 of frescoes; all comforts, 80 m2 living space with a terrace of 20 m2, all on the ground floor (living room, kitchen, Italian shower and 1 bedroom accessible to PRM). A sofa bed can accommodate a 5th person.

Escape to the countryside in this comfortable studio, ideally located 15 minutes from Maubeuge and 20 minutes from Val Joly, just 300 m from the greenway. Enjoy a quiet and green setting, perfect for relaxing while staying close to amenities. Private parking right next to the accommodation. Fully self-contained studio, with linens (sheets, towels) and hygiene products provided. When you arrive, everything is ready: all you have to do is put your suitcases down and enjoy!

Beautiful industrial loft totaly restaured. Located in our house, the loft is completely private, you share the entrance hall and the backyard with us. The loft features 1 kitchen 1 huge bedroom with a 1m80 width bed and a mezzanine with the sitting-room view. There is a also a cosy reading corner and a beautiful brand new bathroom with an italian shower. 65 square meters in total with air conditioning. Access to the jacuzzi is optional for 20€ bathrobes included.

Enjoy a break in Thudinie in the heart of the hanging gardens. Ideally located halfway between the lower town and the upper town, this character house offers you the proximity of the center while being in a peaceful environment. Take a deep breath of fresh air while crisscrossing the Bois du Grand BonDieu, the Ravel or the towpath. Numerous activities are available nearby. Want more information? Located in the heart of a small village in the Avesnois, close to the Belgian border (5 min), you will discover a pleasant and functional stone house. Close to the Eau d'Heure lakes and the Val Joly lake (France), you can enjoy a natural setting for many walks, bike rides or horseback rides. Also discover the many culinary specialties of the region (Chimay, etc.), the Avesnois Natural Park as well as its cultural traditions and historical heritage.

Therefore, you have all the comfort and equipment necessary to enjoy a great stay. Of course, my belongings are there. Close to France, Ragnies, Charleroi or Mons. 1 hour from Brussels. Since September 2023, a new sofa has served as a second bed.
