Holiday rentals in Mercury Bay

We really enjoyed our stay at Anna's place! She was super friendly, and her home is just amazing—fully equipped with everything you need for a perfect holiday or weekend getaway. The place comfortably fits six people, and the vibe of the property is truly special. The best part? The view from the deck. Having a drink there at sunset felt like a hug to my soul. Thank you so much for your hospitality! I hope we can come back soon.

We were after a few days of rest and relaxation in beautiful surrounds and this place certainly delivered. The home was clean, neat and tidy with amazing views, quiet and an easy drive into town. The sunsets from the deck were also stunning. Noel and Molly (as well as Laurie-Ann) provided helpful information regarding check as well as responding promptly to a few questions we had. Highly recommend if you are after a few days of tranquility

Lynley and David's place was the accommodation highlight of our 1 month in New Zealand. The front and back decks were wonderfully set up to relax at all times of the day.. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes which gave us a nice option of eating in or driving the few km to Thames for a meal out. I hope we're able to return.

We fell in love with this amazing cottage upon first sight 🥰 It was more amazing than we could have hoped for - super clean, beautifully designed and decorated, cozy, very comfortable bed, amazing bathroom, amazing views, lot’s of privacy, and lots of perks like an outdoor tub, fresh garden-grow fruits and vegetables, and homemade treats. Hosts, Georgina and Richard, went above and beyond with local recommendations, friendly convo, and whatnot. The local hiking trails are perfect for a few hours of exploring. We wish we spent more time in their amazing garden. We hope to visit again, as this is one of our favorite Airbnb stays in the world!

Our stay was exactly what we wanted and needed. A lovely simple cottage, quiet yet close to the beach and cafe all in walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Thanks Kirsty

We loved staying here, the place was spotless, the kitchen was well stocked - much better than most of the places we have stayed. Kay was lovely and very responsive, would highly recommend staying here it is so much better than many places we have stayed.

27 Banks Road Cooks Beach is a lovely 3 bedroom cottage right on the most amazing beach. The house is clad throughout in beautiful polished pine wood. New bed linen and towels which were of high quality were really appreciated and made for a very comfortable 2 nights. We had a couple of issues when we arrived, but Sarah responded instantly and resolved everything perfectly. If you are looking for somewhere to stay whilst visiting the Coromandel Peninsula, which is a must if you are touring the North Island, we can definitely recommend this property
