The use of the fireplace in the property is optional and subject to an additional charge. The first sack of firewood is provided free of charge. From the second sack onwards, the cost is €20 per sack. This amount is particularly low and covers exclusively the value of the wood. The house is built in the traditional settlement of Proastio (or Prasteio for the locals) in an olive grove. It is located 6km (less than 10 minutes by car) from Kardamili and 9km (about 15 minutes drive) from Stoupa. In the area there are many beaches (organized and not) as well as cafes, taverns and restaurants for all tastes and requirements. The nearest beach is Kalamitsi (about 4km) and is ideal for children.

A little way along the coast there is a fantastic beach with great tavernas at either end (2km) and the magical historical town of Methoni with its incredible Venetian fort (7km).
