Bakers Cottage is a cosy, recently renovated downstairs, 17th Century, Grade II Listed, Cotswold stone cottage in the heart of Minchinhampton village. With a beautiful original inglenook fireplace and lots of charm. Minchinhampton is surrounded by fantastic National Trust countryside for walking, golf (Minchinhampton golf course), riding and biking or chilling in a pub or cafe locally. In the summer months the farmers are allowed to graze their cows and horses on the common, so they roam free.
“Sophie was a great host and she kindly accommodated couple of changes that I needed to make to the booking due to other things coming up. Really appreciated her flexibility. The location is stunning. Such a beautiful little village with very friendly people. We went to the crown inn for dinner twice and the kitchen for breakfast. Food and service is great. Great place to walks in the cotswolds. The cottage is lovely, and very tidy and homely. Cosy place for a short break!”
Attractive spacious room with super king bed, private shower room and dining area in listed Victorian former rectory overlooking the 17th century market building and square of Minchinhampton, a small Cotswold town. High ceilings and large shuttered windows give the accommodation a light and airy feel. The accommodation has recently been refurbished and furnished in period style but has fibre broadband and a large flat screen television. Private courtyard parking and garden with sitting area.
“Setsu’s place was warm and welcoming, especially during an English winter. It is located in a lovely village with a great organic cafe, pub, and an excellent fish and chip shop. It also has a good convenience store and a few other shops. The village is not overly touristy, but is a short drive to other attractions in the Cottswolds. The comfortable flat is part of a lovely old home, and is ideally located in the centre of village. It has good amenities and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Setsu is a great host and goes over and above for her guests. I would definitely recommend Setsu’s place.”

“We would really recommend a stay at Little Culvert - the house is lovely, good size, nice outdoor space and really well equipped. We also loved the local area - fantastic butchers and dairy within 2-3 mins walking distance as well as lots of great places to run, walk and cycle (such as Minchinhampton Common just a five minute walk up the road). We're looking forward to going back to the area in the future.”
